first youve earned a subscriber, OK nothing personal here. You must understand that this video might be useful, especially for those who can spend a lot without worries or have clients that pay enough. However, for those of us who are learning, this will not completely satisfy our needs. Of course, speed and security can be problematic with WordPress, but plugins are making it easier to add premium functionality that is available in other builders. Remember, most people who use WordPress are non-developers most of the time.

I've been creating websites using WordPress since it was invented. I can see why it's frustrating for someone stepping into it for the first time, but modern page builders are restrictive and expensive. WP is a perfect balance between back-end flexibility (power and choice for the developer) and accessible content creation (ease of use for the author). Every time I use a page builder, I feel like a big company sat me down with a Denny's menu and a box of crayons.

Yeah it's expensive if you know how to use Wordpress, but a business owner would still have to hire someone else to do the Wordpress job for them so it's just as expensive. It's basically choosing between a website builder that a business owner can easily understand with no coding knowledge V.S. hiring a web developer to manage the Wordpress for them.

Also Wordpress changes so much that everything you learn today might be useless in a couple of years.

a CMS is a SAAS, it's a web application, it just so happens that Wordpress is open source so you can use it for free, not all CMSs are free or open source.

You could be doing WordPress better! Everything can be automated, including updates and security. Also, if you build a website on any platform other than an open source content management system like WordPress or a VPN server, you become a slave to that hosting company and can never migrate your website, you’ll be limited in what your site can do, and you’ll be locked into literally every decision that company makes. Hmmmm, I wonder if Chang will block me today??? Be blessed bro, just giving my opinion since I've used Wordpress for over a decade.

Hey Charlie, I’m paralyzed but I have slight use of my right arm. I’m tired of relying on people & I fortunately retained my. Artistic ability & I’d like to selll my art as downloads. The government gives me social security so I’m limited on funds but $3 a month is doable. Because I do all of my art on my iPad. Can you suggest what would suit me best. I’m old (40sh’, since my brain injury & being handicap, I lost track of time. I’m an artist trapped in an un pop-able bubble. But I’m pretty savvy on an iPad hopefully I can do this

Wordpress is a not the best for most people. But its still dominant for lower budget websites.

I've had to watch quite a few tutorials just to do basic things in WordPress ex embedding files, changing site header, clearing cache bc updates arent showing live....things that would have been done in 5 minutes in wix no tutorial needed. It just feels a smidgen cumbersome and I'm still trying to get the hang of it to create a basic site 😭 😅

In the age of the AI wordpress really isn't that complicated

Yeah I agree the customization is key. Lots of beginners though are going to get overwhelmed with Wordpress and stop taking action so I think website builders can be right for many people

Do you mean transfer stuff from WP to the Hostinger website builder? If so, that is tough but it's pretty easy to re-build a website using their builder. Or you can continue learning wordpress! It does take time but it's an important skill

Hostinger is just where you host your site. Wordpress is the builder. I moved from Bluehost to Hostinger and I like it.

No matter what. It all looks the same and is boring as f. What happened to the WWW the past years is a huge devastation of creativity. If I think back to 2000-2010 you could see so much creativity back then. Now eveyrhting looks the same and is boring. Every site looks like the other. Technical sites have become much better of course. But they have to be functional, everything else is just copy & paste, looks the same, feels the same .. is literally the same.
