Stop Using Vicks Vapor Hair Treatment Until You See This Q & A!!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Here are a few questions I forgot to answer.
#14 How do I know if I should do the treatment weekly or bi-weekly?
- Answer: If you have damaged hair, start out using this treatment every week for at least one month and then bi=weekly afterwards.
#15 If I do not have any bacteria on my scalp, can I still use this treatment?
- Answer: Yes, this can also be used as a preventive measure.
#16 What style can be achieved in between treatments?
- Answer: You can style your hair as usual or do a light braid weekly.
#17 How much of Vick's Vapor Rub do you dilute with oil?
- Answer: You use 1 Tablespoon of Vick's Vapor Rub and add 2-3 teaspoons of your favorite oil to dilute this treatment; this will aid for sensitive scalps, just be sure to mix well before applying to your scalp.
#18 Can I use this on my natural or relaxed edges to stimulate growth?
- Answer: Yes you can apply this to your edges, as well as, around the perimeter of your entire hairline.

Sonya......gurrrrrrl! You do be on it! I just typed in the vics treatement and came across several videos. I chose yours, simply because you looked like you meant "business" PLUS after watching your video, not only did you make me smile, but you sound so much like my best friend who has moved out of state. You made me believe that I CAN fix my problem area, but MOST of all, you made me believe in you! Keep the videos coming.

Thank you so much for for being honest with people, I just saw another sisters video telling people to use this all the time, not telling people the side effects or precautions to use. And it was obvious that she had a fake ponytail on, and refuse to remove it to show her hair growth. Again thank, and God bless you.

The active ingredients in Vicks VapoRub are camphor, eucalyptus oil and menthol. They have been staples in this product for over 100 years. Other "inactive" ingredients include cedarleaf oil, nutmeg oil, petrolatum, thymol and turpentine oil.

I have to disagree about the braids. I have crochet braids and use this on my scalp (mixed with coconut oil). My scalp feels amazing and my hair is growing like crazy. I also love the dry wash technique. I feel like my hair is getting the benefits of the shampoo. My scalp is clean and my hair feels soft. When I take my faux locs down my hair feels moisturized, not dry. Love this!

Ashanti Arnold, my cousin who is a cosmetologist and she says not to go no more than 10weeks to 12weeks in between relaxes or your hair will start breaking off. Also only wait 10 -12 weeks if you have trained it to go that long. First i would get a relaxed every 4wks, then 6wks couple times then 8 wks then 10wks. It takes years to build that regime.

I used the vicks vapor hair treatment on my relaxed hair and it healed a scab (2 wk old scab) on my scalp. It's amazing treatment, my scalp is fresh and cleansed and my hair is hydrate and shiny. I didn't do the dry shampoo method bc I forgot to get the applicator/condiment bottles. So I got into the shower and shampooed like normal. Washing like normal works however have your eye shut tight or vicks will be in your eyes. Sonya, thank you so much for sharing this treatment and shampoo method!!!

Debra Russell-Karim how often did you apply it? Did you leave it on overnight? Or just once a week for 15 minutes like Sonya?

I love this video. I was feeling a cool sensation on my scalp, and was not aware this intensive deep conditioner by vitale had menthol along with hydro protein. I wanted less shedding when I washed my hair, and this conitioner did the job. I don't like tingle in hair products, but I'll keep using because it worked. I sprayed a tea before applying conditioner. Thanks again for the good info.

efhawkins19 I remember this product, that's what I think about when it comes to the menthol...I was turned on to it by my ole school hair dresser back in the day...She was a healthy, growing hands beautician...Been a loooooong time, but I bought it myself back then, looooved it...
