if you were wondering why STBFL is so popular for wesker, it’s not just because it’s good for camping/tunneling strats; it’s because people just like to recover from M1’s faster, since they like to use their knife as wesker. sometimes, people just like to slash, lol.

I think the STBFL gets most value from the first hit, the recovery on most maps leads to a wall spam follow up guarantee. I don’t know how tunnel killers using stbfl means anyone using it is a tunnel killer

I personally enjoy stbfl, bamboozle, dissolution, blood favor.

After running brutal strength on Wesker from p1 too p100 i cant take it off anymore it feels too nice too use.

some time ago I started using brutal on Wesker, and it's really a game changing perk, you can zone out the living shit of survivors and then m2 them right after breaking a pallet. Honestly, 100% worth running on Wesker. You just need to use it wisely :>

been using coup on killers like Demo, Wesker, and Slinger, and it feels so good to really force the habit of learning my m2 to its full potential while save those Coup stacks for much shorter or whack loops

THANK YOU! Wesker and Demo mains, stop using STBFL and start using Coup! Coup De Grace actually rewards using M2s instead of M1s, causing you to get better!

To any console Weskers, how hard is it for y’all to land bounds much less do hug techs? I love playing Wesker but I really struggle using his power tbh, in most cases if I’m confident I can land it I just go for the M1 especially if I know that going for a bound and missing results in free distance. I probably just have to play him more and go for bounds as much as I can.

Being skilled on console with Wesker's m2 takes a lot of practice but it's definitely achievable. I tried to main him over the summer on Xbox and while I got fairly competent with dashing, I never really got good enough imo to consider myself worthy of being a true wesker main especially not being able to pull off any advanced techs like you can on PC. The frame rate you get on consoles is such a hindrance in learning any mechanically demanding killer in dbd it's almost not worth trying. The only thing I actually got pretty good at doing was flicking with him and playing around tiles. I played on 75 sens. Anything above that is too much on controller to be consistent, at least for me.

Hug teching is def possible with wesker. Even with second bounds but it’s just a lot harder due to frame rate. I’ve got maybe like 500 hours on wesker and land hugs pretty consistently. Even the more difficult ones

I would try but I’m on a controller and it feels like every time I use m2 I get stopped on a dust particle so I just M1

i had this same problem. then switched to pc with no issues. then back to console and realized what was up- it's a lot more intuitive to look away from your slides a bit with the mouse, whereas you have to devote brain power to doing it with the stick. Now it's a non issue. Fr, try bumping your camera just a bit away from whatever you're bounding along right before dashing.

I like stbfl on wesker to hopefully catch up to the survivors after a basic attack, cause sometimes when u have the brown add on that increases the distance of the second dash, you can almost hit them a lot of the time. And personally, brutal isnt my favorite but maybe i should try it, cause stbfl doesnt always have 8 stacks

Not a good perk. Leads to bad habits and weaker can play around widows anyways. Look at cruhmbs looping guide and see for yourself. If you use windows on weskuh you are goofy

Doesnt matter if you're on pc or controller it just take pratice .

I used to run it on Demo but made the same conclusion. Hinders Powerusage to a point where learning it doesn't feel worth it cuz I'll M1 more often either way. Now I basically only run it on Pig and Slinger (or Billy if I play w Speedlimiter lopro just for the memes).

I honestly think the opposite, i like it on demo than like pig, i feel like its easier to save on demo than pig. On billy i tried using rapid brutality to see if it would worked, it didnt, but stbfl on billy is probably good

Playing on console (Xbox one) some of the grabs and the angles you're able to maneuver your camera into are just not possible for me, I can't use Weskers power to slide along loops like that even trying to use it to lunge off a hill just stops all momentum, so only being able to essentially move in a straight line with it STBFL works the best for me since i'm stuck playing like that, at 8 stacks at least I can M1 straight into M2 for a grab if they haven't found a a way to break line of sight from me yet.

I play on Switch and my favorite way to play Wesker is a Shaman build. I think my mistake was being poor lol

Never used STBFL on him but fir entirely different reason. Argument to use it, because you can save stacks with your power. But I'm not sure abt my skills and whether or not I can land a hit on obsession. So I don't use STBFL on Wesker because I couldn't maximize it's "usefulness"

why you shouldnt run STBFL 1. doesnt stack with special attack, but you probably already knew that 2. brutal strength and even coup are more consistent for looping 3. makes you rely on pathetic M1 instead of Giga-Chad M2

Late comment but since release I’ve personally enjoyed stbfl, bamboozle, dissolution, blood favor. Blood favor usually gives a free hook before getting cleansed. initiating a chase with bamboozle will push survs to an awkward spot more often than not leading to a dissolution. Bamboozle isnt necessarily bad just think about what you want to do after.

I use it because I'm on console and therefore it's nigh impossible for me to do the m2 techs. I physically cannot turn fast enough to get value from trying. So when they're at a loop my m2 is useless like 85% of the time

The addons egg is one of his best addon And average wesker use it so they have time to predict survivors movements.

I have never used STBFL on wesker ever... I normally run Nowhere to hide Shadowborn Call of Brine Pop or Bam Dissolution Shadowborn Corrupt

I need to get better at Weskers dash oh man... I never use STBFL - I just suck Egg

As a sbfl abuser you just don’t get it So here’s the plan use rapid brutality, and sbfl because you recover quicker, so you can pull out your power quicker and rapid makes you more faster

1. If you're going for an m2 every hit with either you're playing wrong. Go with which is fastest, almost always. Exception to be made if you haven't infected the surv yet with Wesker, then obviously do it on the down. 2. This is asinine logic bc Wesker is 115. Ppl call him an m2 killer as though he can't be an m1 killer. He absolutely can. Because he's both. As opposed to huntress without that dumbazz addon, who is purely m2 unless you're a masochist. 3. I use STBFL on Wesker because I also use sloppy. I want them infected AND mangled for the best of both slowdown options. Most of my chases involve an m1 and an m2 unless it's just easier to get 2 bounds. Not everyone likes or needs gen regression perks and I tend to avoid them so that I get better at what I enjoy- chasing. STBFL is never a wasted slot. I think ppl are hating on STBFL because they assume it means the player is not good at the bounds. Just like with demo, it can shine as a back pocket resource. I shred every opportunity i get which is most of the time, but those m1s accumulate quickly and it's EXTREMELY nice to have it and it not be obvious to a swf until it's too late.

Less experienced weskers run this all the time. Theyll often miss their bounds and will probrably m1 more than anything. Good weskers will run anything to avoid using m1

I only really run stbfl on deathslinger. Most overhyped perk of all time, really.

I know its no good, but i just find it funny.

People that use stbfl on m2 killers in my experience just play like brainless zombies, it’s a perk that promotes zero skill expression with your m2. Absolutely boring to go against.

I always run the same build that im used to. Stbfl, iron grasp, shadowborn, and noed. I usually get at least 2Ks or 3Ks. Don't play to truly win, but to have some ACTUAL fun

I agree that STBFL should not be used on Wesker. However, you said yourself that you have a hard time ever getting 8 stacks. Players who know how to M1 well can get those 8 stacks pretty quickly on a regular basis. Tough to say a strategy isn't viable when you do not know how to run it properly to give it a fair shot. Entertaining vid!

bro wasted SO much time to get his m2 hits when he, despite what he was saying, could have absolutely gotten the m1 AND the pallet just brute forcing it. And he's one of the best Weskers. LMAO. STBFL is good on Wesker. Always go for your m2 when it's feasible, but yes, actually, sometimes the m1 is faster- THEN you bound them when they're running to another loop. Of friggin course it'll take you half the match to get stacks if you're determined to m2 them twice. There's no need. You can do one then the other. Furthermore, if you swap your tactics then the good survivors won't know which you're going for and you can catch them out on mistakes. This absolutely won't happen if you're always going for the bound.

You are right on stbfl. but brutal? Thats a very bad perk,hard to even notice its effect. Brutal is only good with other break speeds like fireup or something. But then you sacrificing two slots to a good effect. Brutal is a half killer perk.

In the first match with the STBFL perk, you came across high prestige, with DH, MFT, you killed four in 11 minutes, the next match with the perk brutal, you came across low ranks - you killed three in 9 minutes. Draw your own conclusions.
