I’ve definitely tried this out. I’ve grown with and without co2. CO2 definitely improved my yield. I’m not in my grow room all day everyday it’s a sealed off lung room. Try it before you dismiss it.

@@herotcg4028 yes, co2 is basically obsolete during the night time. i think it has something to do with the hault of photosynthesis, as there is no light.

I have my plants in a small basement room with lots of lighting, where I can't always give the plants CO2 with my breathing, and I thought about it for a long time. In the end, I found a very nice, inexpensive solution, without electricity, without capsules, and without much effort. A soil mixture in a bag with mycelium that produces its own CO2 from Exhale. I have the impression that the plants are happy about it and I can really recommend it.

I put my tent in my animal room. Between 30ish lizards, 7 snakes, and a 140lbs mastiff, I'm pretty sure there is enough co2 for what I'm doing.

@warrenashr2579 Learn first and foremost, but there are plenty of people giving away what they can't take care of so pretty easy to acquire a collection. Just stay away from sick reptiles, gets expensive fast.

You don't need to use co2 in a garden. I do keep my ppm 800 -1000. I don't need it. But after I purchased thecontrller and tank, $22 refill lasts me 2 to 3 grows. I have a spiderfarmer sf4000 running at most 40% meeting my par and ppfd for 18 hours. P is right! I follow VPD and have fun. My next grow will be some of Chris's chillout og f3's in a 5x5 going totally organic with Jeremy Silva buildasoil. Thank you for the content P! Keep the good work up!

i find it hard to believe that one tank lasts you 2-3 grows, i replace my 25lb c02 tanks at least once a week when i run at 1500ppm. granted my room isnt sealed and its only $11 at my hydro store, but still you have a sensor to accurately measure your levels?

@@holyNodes My tank runs only during my light cycle, my light cycle is mostly on when me and my family is home. So we contribute to the co2 in the air. So my co2 only runs when co2 dips below 800 ppm. Contributing to the longevity to the tank. I don't use co2 during germ and 3 weeks into grow. I use Autopilot APC8200 controller and 25lb tank. A story, when I first used co2. Vinegar and b.soda, I woke up one morning to check my plants, they were white or close to it. Poisoned! If I ran at 1500ppm, 1 maybe 2 grows if I'm lucky.

CO2 helps me grow during these scorching LV summers 🔥 Also, great link to Rob's clip. Great teamwork!

I have a totally sealed chamber outside for my grow to keep bugs out. I have sealed it up as much as I can. Went in the day I set it up, and my monitor was at zero. So I keep a tank and regulator going set at 800. Plants love it, and I have the tightest nuts ever.

Only use co2 when in bloom.

agree man. adding extra co2 to indoor is a waste of money. outdoor plants do not require additional co2, and can feed nutrients at way higher ppm's, and get a bigger harvest.

The only use that find helpful is if the temps are getting hot, so like the end of a grow in June without the terraformed!

I did several side by sides with CO2 tank and without it definitely helps plans just pray harder the whole time with it and more yield

I use co2 in my garage to grow. In my experience, the co2 bags help my ladies survive these 100+ degree days. Besides, it can't hurt to try it out and see if it works for your setup...good luck either way!

The thing that gets me is that to properly benefit from CO2 it needs to be in a sealed environment, otherwise every time the extractor fans kick in, all your precious CO2 gets vented. I'm pretty sure that the majority of people don't have a fully sealed environment. Most people use a tent in an unsealed room. All the "You NEED CO2!" talk is just that - talk. If you do have a sealed environment (and overpowered lighting), sure, go for it. I suspect its actually cheaper and easier to grow an additional plant, than to supplement your garden with CO2.

Co2 totally worth it. Don’t knock it until you try it. You can feed more, give more light, can handle hotter temps. Aid of benefits from it. I know people pulling a pound off lights and I know people who bet 3lbs a light. Guess which one uses co2.

Never used it really, dont think i will in the foreseeable future. Have my wife,2 kids, and me in 1000ft with a 2x3 with 2 ladies think im producing enough naturally for free. But never had it so dont know what im missing to miss it

Because of our heavy reliance and use of fossil fuels. The average C02 levels in the air have risen to around 480 ppm already outdoors. Indoors, well inmy grow room, with 2 adults living in the same home as my Grow. On an average day, with help from the pilot light on the gas hot water heater, furnace and stove,the C02 saturation is 820 to 870 ppm. So in light of that.... YEAH, HUGE WASTE OF MONEY AND RESOURCES FOR MY GROW. KEEP EM COMING BUDDY. HAPPY GROWING

Bugbee says to use it especially if you’re a home grower lol co2 is beneficial even if you don’t have a light that gets high enough par. Just co2 alone gets you up to 30% more growth.

I PC game in my lung room for hours. Putting off plenty of C02. Once I seal it off I may try it again. I never personally saw a huge gains when I tried it in the past. That was back in the HPS days

Co2 is only useful with everything increased to match light air flow water food etc besides that most homes are 700+ ppm after a few hrs of being home

It's not just wasted money, it's counterproductive from an ecologic standpoint. It costs energy to isolate and compress CO2, so it's a double whammy on carbon loading to the atmosphere. Utterly ridiculous practice from our community, especially given how many stoners are "ALL IN" when it comes to the global climate/CO2 conversation.

You can make CO2 for your plants by mixing sugar, yeast, and lukewarm water in a 2-liter bottle. Just poke some holes in the top. Simple, effective, and no compression needed! Also cheap as hell and makes less carbon than you or I do farting in our sleep, but in a closed tent it can be beneficial for the extreme cases (I guess I’m extreme now 😅) You can buy enough material to supplement home grow for a lifetime by spending like $30 at Costco haha That said, yes, as P420 said most rooms in most houses have more than enough naturally.

When you can produce one run, that looks good maybe people will start listening until then keep selling stuff for AC infinity and don’t worry. They’ll have a burner soon.😂😂😂
