Stop the sway? Installing Airlift Airbags on my Super Duty
Ойын-сауық
Welcome back to another video! I am SO stoked to be sharing the start of the customizing Journey for our Super Duty! We are slowly, making our truck the absolute best Overlanding / Boondocking / Roadtrip vehicle that we can. The start of this, is to solve the issue of the truck sagging, and body roll while traveling with the Scout Kenai Truck Camper.
My friends at @AirLiftCompany sent me their LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus rear Airbag kit, along with their Wireless Air 2nd Gen Compressor system with the EZ plate.
Follow along to see how I like them, and what my thoughts are!

Thanks so much! I am so glad you liked it!
Josh, I think your truck payload is around 4500lb the DRW version has 7800lb if I'm not mistaken. Nice set up you got there.

You are totally correct. I misread the label. Thank you so much for letting me know! And thanks for watching!
Due largely to the video quality (I could tell the bags are decent) I now have an Air Lift kit on my porch awaiting install.

Thanks so much Kai! Im positive you will love them!
Thanks for commenting on leveling the camper; to confirm the adjust is very small for both front to back and side to side or none existent at all for both? Thanks again.

Hi Lee! Very small. If I had a actual level, I would imagine it would be maybe 1-2 degrees tops. My truck has a level built in, and it showed no change on the angle no matter how much PSI was in any of the bags, but the level is also located in the cab. I imagine if my truck had more sag, it would be able to have more play, but I was only dealing with 2.5 inches really anyways
Looks good! How was the install process?

Thank you! It wasn’t bad. Really straight forward, just slightly time consuming. It took me about 6 hours, but I was also recording the video and such. The directions were great, and airlift has really great installation videos on KZread to help explain.
