    I really liked this video as I've had a habit of sliding for decades and the stacking of the upper body over my lead leg worked so well for me, takes abit of work and timing but when you get it it's a fantastic feeling on contact! Love it and thank you!

    Hi, thanks for your helpful videos. Many pros teach you to lean in prior to the downswing. Can you please comment on this? Thanks.

    Hi Berthold, thanks for that. Yes I like to make a small lateral shift towards the target at the start of the downswing too. As long as it's with the upper and lower body together and not just the lower. Cheers

    half a second to adjust the downswing slide !! and end up in your suggested delivery position ,very difficult for me , the high handicapper

    Hi Jeffery, definitely challenging if you've been doing it for years. I'd recommend doing lots of slow rehearsals first and start by hitting short shots only before building up to full swings. Keep at it and you'll get there. Cheers

    Troy, I assume the suggestion to drop your trail foot back 5 inches to improve rotation is only a drill?

    Yes, that's right John. However, I've seen golfers doing this during a round as well. You just need to be careful to adjust your aim because it often results in draws and sometimes hooks. It's great for improving the shoulder turn as well. Cheers
