    You can still make a good profit selling specialty gumballs that are more expensive to buy wholesale. For example the Blow Pop and Seedlings that are around $53.00 a case. But to make a great profit I upgraded my machines to fifty cent mechs. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    @@shadowsky4556 I have been upgrading all my machines to fifty cent mechs now matter what product is in the machine. So far almost all my Rhino Pros and Classics have been upgraded. And I am still waiting on the promised fifty cent mechs for my Rhino Triple Shops from candymachines dot com to be available to buy. The cost of product and shipping at a dollar a pound will keep going up and I want to stay ahead of the curve.

    Thank you so much for subbing! I buy my gumballs from candymachine dot com or All Star Vending. Depends on prices between the two companies. I do not recommend buying the ZED brand gumballs that are made in China. Buy the Double Bubble brand for best quality. Popping Rocks I buy from candymachines dot com.

    It is hard to predict what will sell well at each location. Example one place plain m&ms Runs out fast. Right across the street plain m&ms are barely touched and they go through skittles fast. Another one of my locations the gumballs are the best seller. Just have to ask questions and try different candy to see what sells in that spot.

    I have been looking at the Vending Business and debating between Bulk Vending or the Giant pop/snack machines. I've seen lots of random posts that say bulk vending doesn't make much net profit. Would you mind sharing what you consider a good net profit per 3 head machine? And do you do the bigger machines to or stay in the bulk arena?

  • @gumballgold

    @gumballgold

    Full line vending (giant pop/snack machines) takes a lot of money, labor, and time. You also have a lot more financially at risk. So you are investing in a job and all the legal things that come with opening up a business. And just like a business you need insurance, form a LLC, accounting, keeping up with all the licenses and business taxes/sales tax. I rather do bulk vending because it is truely passive income with all of what I mentioned. I can service all my machines when I feel like it while rolling in a Corvette. Full line vending requires a truck or van with all the heavy lifting. All I have to do is just reinvesting my profits into more machines and grow on my time. My machines and product fit perfectly in the back of my Corvette when I scout for new locations or need to upgrade a location. I don't have to worry about someone calling me if they loose their money or if a coke machine has run out of product. I don't have to pay commissions or any fees. The IRS considers bulk vending a hobby, so I don't have to pay income tax on this business model. Now depending on locations and foot traffic, your machines will average ten dollars a month up to a couple of hundred dollars a month like my triple head you see in my videos. I have met people with a thousand machines and more. So their worse case is each machine averages ten dollars that month. So ten dollars times a thousand is ten thousand dollars for that month. I am fortunate enough to be debt free. I can easily be comfortable on one hundred thousand a year income. I don't know your finance status, but if you are just startng out an extra thousand dollars a month would really help you with your budget to get out of debt, pay off the car, or just buy groceries. I just really love the speed bulk vending lets you have to keep investing your profits into more machines and growing faster compared to full line vending. I can sell a ten cent gumball for fifty cents is a lot better profit margin compared to full line. And a gumball doesn't have the very short food experation date compared to full line either. Thanks for watching my video and commenting.

    @@gumballgold Thank you for such a long explanation. I have about 40k to invest but finding out the full line machines cost 7k plus for a good one made me really second guess if I want to go down that path along with the labor as I have a full time job. I could buy 20 three head machines for under that price. Of course finding the right locations is what makes or breaks you. I am by no means a salesman so even for the candy machines will have to find somebody to help me get locations. Would love to get into grocery stores/retail stores but I'm sure that is very hard.

    @@FoxbodyCollector grocery stores and corporate retail stores will not let you. You can do what is called stealth vending to get into those types of businesses. I will be doing a video about that in the future. But you first need to concentrate on the businesses that will say yes. You don't need to be a sales person or sales experience. These machines are just so cute they sell themselves. Most people already have a warm place in their hearts for these machines probably from their childhood. I do have a video about my best locations if that will help. Also I am blessed not to have any competition in my town. But I do recommend just buy five machines to see if bulk vending is for you. You can find like new machines on Facebook market place for real cheap or buy brand new from candymachinesdotcom. Stick with only one brand like I do with the Rhino machines. That way you can easily switch out wheels, mechs, and stands without have hundreds of parts for more brands of machines.With five machines you will either find locations quickly or find out if you have any challenges. So if you enjoy your first five, then go ahead and invest in more. If not, five machines are easier to sell to someone like me than having to unload twenty.
