how refreshing to see a member of the police who is willing to spend time and explain their particular role .... not only was she forthcoming with lots of information but seemed passionate about doing her job and doing it RIGHT ..... what a credit to the force

@@walterhess8147 im no lover of police , but there was no need for that statement regarding her weight , she was obviously not in a front line role so does'nt need to chase criminals , she seemed a decent one , i dont know if there is a certain fitness criteria for non operational roles but just because shes a bit overweight doesnt mean she's not fit .

When the England Rugby team won the World Cup, according to the NHS/government criteria, 70% of the team were over weight, and 90%wouldn't meet the requirements for the forces or the police! It's mad. Surely everything should be based on individual merits. Compared to some of these tool's in uniform, I'd rather have Sgt.Kerry and the England Rugby team anyday

Kerry is exceptional, as a person, and a police officer. A fountain of knowledge too. If more officers were like Kerry, instead of being bully’s, there would be less crime, less criminals, and a lot less complaints and civil actions against the police.

Kerry, what a fabulous example you have set for your colleagues. Very pleasant, open, informative and respectful. The Negative..... Q. Why is this interaction so shocking?? A. Because this is so rarely seen !! This should in fact be the normal way that the Police engage with the public, as equals and not as subservient inferiors. Great video. Very wrong to make a distinction between lady Sergeant (the correct spelling by the way), and a man Sergeant. They are equal ranks with the same job description. Just like the old designation of WPC (Woman Police Constable) was done away with many years ago. Please get yourself up to date.

What a lovely lady a credit to the police force, maybe the male officers take a look at this and might lose their egos.

let me just say that i've never had any problems with the police, even when i've been in wrong, these videos highlight the fact a lot of police are ignorant, bullies and ought not be in positions of responsibility, but i do think the majority - not just police but all people - the majority are doing the best they can with the best intentions. i'm sure you personally meet more"nice people" than people who abuse you. actually if you watch DJ AUDITS videos he hardly ever has any problems with police.

Great video , Kerry is only a Sargent , should be at least a Commander , we need more like her in the force , no ego just what cop should be , pity there arnt more like her

That was one of the best interactions I’ve seen recently. Kerri really treated you as equals, no condescending speak and was very respectful. Lovely chance encounter. And no surprise, it all started off on the RIGHT foot with respect shown from the first second and reciprocated. Violence = the initiation of force, so, when the police search a peaceful man, woman or child, the police are being violent. 'Police by consent' is an interesting one. Consent is nearly always gained when people unwittingly contract, usually by giving personal details when asked.

Only just recently found this channel and enjoying it a lot, but I heard from a different video that you came to Telford which has made me quite happy, I’m quite enjoying watching these type of videos.

Only 10 mins in and I like her such a nice person and as an Officer took time out of her day and engaged with you to explain what she does 11 out of 10 to her NEED MORE LIKE THAT LADY IN THE POLICE FORCE

What I would love to hear from Kerry is what is being done about police officers who use their stop and search powers as a retaliation. Just a quick search on yt shows this happens way to often to photographers who dare to use they right to refuse id. From time to time a compensation is paid out to victims who can afford legal support but no consequences to rouge officers.

@yoochoooob Good post , I have been asked by police to search my camera . ( but I have two card slots , so it is easy to let them look at whichever card of images I want them to see ( And only IF they push it ,mostly I would expect most officers are pretty poorly informed about cameras , and how they work particularly pro or semi pro stuff)
