Oversharing attracts toxic people too, especially narcissists. The less you share, toxic people can’t pretend to “relate” to you and therefore can’t attach themselves to you. Eventually they move on to their next victim. Unfortunately I had to learn that the hard way.

We can, at times share things that can not be used against us. The devil does not know how to use humorus and loving messages. He or she sees nothing in it. We can also give a dog a bone. Share something we don't necessaryly need. We can confuse people who try to deceive and control by using their own methods. Like the man of God, he must limit obligations in this life (II Tim 2:4; I Tim 6:6-12). For this pursuit will weary his already-wearied flesh (Eccl 12:12).
