Studio series bumblebee movie optimus prime doesn't really match to its final design we saw at the end of the movie, it actually resembles the the cab truck in age of extinction before he chose the semi truck, the one we got after the movie was different

but what about siege optimus, earthrise optimus(hes been out for awhile before this was posted so im counting it), evasion mode optimus, mp-44 aint that bad, mp 10 is clean (albeit a bit to THICC) and im assuming were not counting 3rd party but most 3rd party primes are pretty clean, even the 06 classics figures are pretty clean. Personally i think the beds of past primes have been the least of their problems. But you probably are right about it being the thinnest and best at hiding the feet.

HOLY SLAG, your stop-motion has improved SO MUCH! The animation in this review was so smooth and fluid, I was geeking out the entire time! And then you went into such a passionate and honest review of what is possibly one of the most highly engineered and faithfully detailed modern Transformers figures that honestly, I kinda want to start collecting these guys again (I'm surprised you didn't talk about the absolute chasm in the middle of the chassis, though). The animation, the sound effects, the humor, everything was so awesome about this review. I'm so glad I subscribed to your channel, Lazy, and I eagerly await what's next.

@@TheLazyEyebrow Could you imagine tho if like they rebooted the movieverse, and said 'We're finally making the designs more accurate", and the reveal comes and it's modernized Unicron Trilogy? People would lose their minds. G1 fans have it good. Miscellaneous fans nowadays can't even get a Bulkhead without them making him square and giving him a nose ;u; I kinda wish Legacy did the movie designs, cause I think they have great concepts that just should be simplified. The thing I love about the Bay movies is that they actually realize these creatures are robots, so they shouldn't be just confined to a human body type. Skipjack moves around like a jackhammer. Sideswipe has wheels for feet. Robots can be so many shapes an sizes, there's no reason they all have to look like us, right? When a human wants four arms, that's impossible to do with modern technology, but when a Cybertronian wants four arms, Wheeljack can do that in one afternoon.

@@TheLazyEyebrow I especially like how Hightower is like this animalistic pet for the rest of the Constructicons. I feel making some of the characters like robot animals that also transform into cars would've added some variety. Like Digilaut's concept for Animated Rampage, where he's just a bulldog that guards the construction site.

For as G1-centric as this design is, I appreciate the small ways they do break the mold. What's that? No G1 Optimus toy since the original uses the real truck grill for his abs because it just doesn't look good? Well, let's just not bother with the grill abs! That way we can get a good-looking robot with no faux parts!

Just FYI; it isn't uncommon to see custom rims on long haul trucks here in the US. Matter of fact, the rear rims are a race car style that is actually out there for single tire trucks rather than the double rims you see on standard trucks which are usually just pressed steel rims
