MP-22 is my favorite official masterpiece because you can tell the designer was a magnus fan. This figure is strong in both modes which is not easy to pull off. The all in one transformation seals the deal for me. Its almost like witchcraft how this thing comes together so seamlessly. Excellent review sir and welcome back!

Actually, the G1 toy "look" for the missiles are in the front as you had them to begin with. Its toon accurate to have them off to the side.

Oh yeah, I couldn't be happier for Jobby's sudden rise in popularity. I also like his early attempts at stop motion animation, I wish he could've stuck with them. Thankfully we have you for satisfying our need for moving toys!

honestly before I uploaded this I didn't even know one existed, but thanks for telling me = P

This is one of my favourite g1 masterpiece figures in the line. Because it can pull off the impossible: having a realistic truck mode convert into a cartoon accurate robot mode! I know that’s because of the trailer making up for the cartoon accuracy, but still, wow!

Great review again. I bought that shoulder/gun upgrade and the kfc hands. The shoulder pieces could probably just be cut on the original figures pieces, if your handy with a dremel tool. Then he gets a couple more shoulder clicks which helps slightly more. But I got to admit the kfc hands on Magnus and Star Saber really give them more life. I thought the upgrade heads on my Kup and Bludgeon were great, these hands make me want to upgrade all masterpiece figures hands now. I highly recommend either set. The shoulder/gun set, the gun barrel almost doubles the rifle and gives it a good beefy look and feel.

Do you have the MP-01 prime? And if you do, can you compare it to MP-10 Prime?

Where can you find master piece for the cheapest. Preferably Prowl and a range between $90-$120. Also not from E-Bay

Well now with MP 44 prone we need a new Magnus since they don’t match anymore.. And Red alert I guess is just a sideswipe repaint. I skipped him until 14+ came out since he looks much better to me

the funny thing is that Road warrior Megatron dotm has a turning cab in vehicle mode

I just realised apound a consecutive viewing, during the size comparisons, Optimus' smokestacks are miss transformed untill allopyon is among the lineup. OPTIMUS HAS A CRUSH :3

Watching a seven year old video of MP Magnus after messing with my Studio Series Magnus, I realize how similar the two figures are.

Just an aside about the red bumper, but I've actually seen trucks with them (I'm in Ireland, for reference).

Did you know that if you look at the missiles and in the trailer the white part and the missiles look like 2 big missiles

I must be the only one who wants to see a line of Master Peiece Convoi who are interchangeable between Optimus Prime, Omaga Supream, Nemesis Prime, and may be even some shateredglass based coloring eventually. I always loved how the G1 could have either Optimus or Omaga in the Supream armor standing in the repair bay of the Prime trailer.

I think it's because Red Alert was both 1: A Lame, paranoid nutcase. and 2: He's a repaint of Sideswipe, in which I'd assume more people would have Sideswipe as compared to Red Alert.

MP22 is lacking a lot of paint details..they could have spent some paint on it to make details pop out more.

Siege/Kingdom Ultramagnus will always disappoint. He an "armoured transport truck" What can he transport....his head. That's it.

I will never ever be able to afford any of these figures. But to be honest, I am glad that in m lifetime I get to see "cartoon" accurate Transformers. Don't get me wrong, the "original" figures back in my day kicked ass, but these new figures do the TV series and Animated Movie(NOT Michael Bay)justice. Transformers will ALWAYS rules.

Or Zero!! . . . Degrees left & right “scoff” Siege/Kingdom Ultra Magnus. That’s cool.
