In the meantime, we are warming up with these short daily practices. Every day, we focus on one essential element of your gait pattern. Today, we are practicing walking like a leopard. As always, we start by noticing our spontaneous, habitual movement pattern. Don't change a thing, but observe. Pay attention to the quality of landing on each foot. Is it hard, abrupt, or jarring? After you spent a few minutes sensing and feeling the impact of each foot, begin to land softer. Deliberately kiss the floor with your heels. Make a velvet-like contact with each foot and notice the flow of your walking.
