Hey Pek, I play a little bit of Rammus top, here's a tip against AP matches: Go force of nature second. Despite nerfed it gives you a lot of MR and MS, so you don't need to worry about building more MR itens (though Jak'Sho is always a must as 3rd or 4rth item), it's specially good against Kennen or AP mages that love long fights.

23:33 - It was not faster waiting for Baron to die. You'd have gotten back to base at the exact same moment if you'd just started, and finished, your recall the first time.

Loved the video but you used ghost like twice, maybe try exhaust with ignite. That way kennen wouldn't be able to all in as easily.

The thing with Rammus and its Resistance derived damage: if he gained bonus damage from both, he might need to reduce damage from just armour. Which would be a nerf on him versus some team comps. Then he would either need better base stats or built-in sustain, which would fundamentally change him. Same with Leona. (Always Leona, I am biased.) For her to be viable in other lanes, she would need her passive to be able to be procced alone or she would need a whole new passive, which would fundamentally change her. A lot of old champs suffer from this. The easy fixes are not in fact, easy. (Although, to be fair, Rammus getting straight up shred built in for its passive and making it a flat level based amount, make him equally viable and easy to balance. Leona's passive is not as integral to the champion, as Rammus's bonus damage and return damage is.)

Wdym? Leona is an absolute beast in solo lane against quite a few champs. Like every single champ in the game, it depends on the matchup, but she is a great pick into many champs. Pick her into yasuo, Yone, Camille, irelia and many similar champs and you will have a good time. I don't understand your point at all.

Pekin you must take teleport with Rammus! This is almost a playbook on how not to play Rammus. You should be behind towers farming above your creeps. Ignite is really not justified here. I know you are challenger and you have all my respect!

After watching, glad to hear they are reworking Rammus. His design is very bad. He doesn't want to interact with people early and his kit is uninteractive late. Thornmail is way too efficient on him. Yeah he sucks vs ap but that's part of the problem of the kit being unfun for most people involved, it's fun if you enjoy bullying people into hitting themselves or you're a masochist I suppose lol. The only counter besides ignoring rammus when he isn't taunting you is to build magic resist and NOT build attack speed since his W passive combo scales with enemy stack speed.

I miss Evenshroud on Rammus for this build

Pekin you need to watch some bausffs. A lot of your picks are so bad at laning that you need some strategical inting to make them work somewhat consistently.

i miss the good ole days when rammus Q didnt have a wind up time, and you hit Q and you just instantly had like 800ms. His current Q is one of the dumbest nerfs/change ever to a champ.
