It is easy to say that your dream is to be a kpop idol but the hard work and dedication you need to be a kpop idol is way too hard than you think !! I am a boy and this is my sister's account my dream was also to be a Kpop idol .. I always use to tell my parents about my dream to be an artist but as the year passed I realised that I am not born to be a kpop idol , soo... I finally decided to make career in my academics and I have decided to pursue Engineering !!! I want to be a kpop idol soooo bad, I'm 15, can rap very well, can dance and sing a lil bit (I have a raspy voice), I can act (I do practice acting), I'm slim etc BUTT I'm not Korean or Asian 💀 I'm not even Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese not even Indian, I'm morrocan 🤧 + even if I was 50% morrocan and maybe 50% Japanese, I don't speak Korean, I only speak English, French and Arabic and my parents hate Korea cuz of it's music, beauty standard etc 😭😭 And even tho I was thinking "what if I was a backup dancer? They don't need to be korean" Welp My parents won't let me go to Korea and my dancing isn't 10/10, I'm better at rapping and... I don't think backup dancers rap 💀💀 So yh I'm stuck here in France (pls help me)

Ima tell you, they don’t know how to be a successful idol. Cause it’s up to the company. When your preparing for debut it’s up to the company how to promote you, how to utilize your talents, and help make your famous in general. Its out of the idols range wether they will be successful or not, it’s just a game of luck. And for your question at the end, probably not.

i rly wanna be an idol and ive always wanted to perform when i was little. Not k-pop but i always wanted to be a singer, or dancer or figure skater (I was in competitve figureskating before covid hit for a year) or some sort of entertainer/ performer type job. I got into k-pop recently and i really wish I got into it earlier so I could have started to learn to dance because im 15 now and most idols start their predebut at my age already and I have no experience in anything exept a bit of singing but I really really want to become a kpop idol, even if I know i would probably suffer a lot to be able to get there.

The only really hard thing for me to do is staying slim because sometimes i get overweight but usually i manage to stay not overweight from exercise but its just hard for people like me because i have an eating disorder so i cant really control my eating really no matter how hard i try but the rest of it is pretty simple for someone like me because i already do all of that stuff and whatsapp is the only social media i have but idrk if that counts tho as what has to be deleted but i dont even post videos or posts on here tho so it doesnt really matter

The kpop industry is always expanding. Especially lately there have been tons of more foreigners who aren’t East Asian. And even back in the day Chinese and Japanese idols were criticized. So don’t give up!

@@PinkiePies_Pie eh.. the industry is becoming more accepting and it’s always changing. But Korean isn’t a huge language like Spanish or English so obviously the majority who speak it will be Korean. But it’s definitely possible to become an idol especially in these times

⁠@@sayantikasingha7438Considering ur age you should apply to become a trainee around your age if u want to be a kpop idol (also depends on the company) because sooner or later if ur like 17 or 16 or something sometimes it might be considered to old to audition as it takes some years and in the future upyou’ll be like 20 when u debut

To anyone who wants to be a kpop idol especially foreign kpop stans. Please, always be a skilled vocalists. Kpop needs more skilled vocalists because not even the korean members are talented enough nor capable enough of carrying a tune. Idc about the other things here but please, always have the talent to be vocally skilled. You can hide a bad dancer but never a bad singer.

I believe I could be an idol. Im 20(but looks like a 14 year old) have a good and healthy ish body, I know more than one language, I can dance but Im like a athlete person so I move alot, everyone loves me in highschool so no enemies, im not racist and did nothing bad which is good, I workout, I can rap but not really a good singer, I hate eating fast food, and etc. But now i feel like i could never and i feel bad. So I have a Korean and we went to school together and I told her that I what to be an idol or just a dancer(told her about auditioning) She told me to do it. She send me audition and info and i was like okay. I told other friends about me auditioning. I was 18 at the time and was working on dances to send them but i stopped because my voice wasn't good enough. English kinda ruined my voice(Spanish was my first language) and couldn't hit notes. I can rap but rap and singing is different and i can't sing. So i stopped. I was my dream but stopped. I'll just do dancing. I'm full of skills but singing is not for me. So I tried but stopped. Now I saw and video and realized its hard so im kinda okay but the fact that my Korean friend hyped me up😭 Well that my story i guess (If i spelled something wrong its because i was typing fast)

heyy, I suggest you don't try to audition at yg because it's one of the 3 biggest agencies and you have 5% to pass the first audition (then there would be the 2nd and 3rd auditions which are even more difficult to pass if you don't know Korean or English) the agencies don't tend to take foreigners (except for Japanese, Chinese, Thai and few other Asian countries). unfortunately they are based on your beauty at fir, so if you don't meet a certain standard of beauty you may not even be taken into consideration. I hope that helped you a bit. for agencies you could look for smaller agencies which are maybe easier to audition online ^^

Ngl Kpop idols are debuting younger and younger you would definitely have a easier time getting signed if you’re under 18 because Korea is so obsessed with youth the only group that I can think of that debuted with all adults are kiss of life granted the maknae just turned 18 but my point is companies are looking for younger and younger idols rather than older ones so if you don’t find success 2-3 years after graduating you’ll be considered “old” which is not true but that’s just how it is in the kpop industry.

I'm 13 my wish is to become a kpop idol even im atleast talented to get accepted as a trainee but my mom never gives me permission even she says if i will not change my decision she will drink poison by my hand and my dad says to pass 12th first but after 12th it will be so much late for audition!

You mean stretched skin, right? If so, you can apply a stretch mark cream.

i needed a surgery because i was young and a organ from my nose had to get out bc i couldn't have mucus or whatever its named, idk and i had to do it, that is hard for me
