what I learnt in just 6 minutes: - you can only expect something in return if you actually provide value - connecting with other devs is a win for both sides - you don't need to be the best developer/whatever to work with others the video really motivated me to not just isolate myself but actually think about working with other devs too the background footage was good, not distracting from the video, subtitles would've been cool

I started doing it like 2 years ago and now im working on a front page project at the start i didnt know what to do but when i started talking to people it was easy and quick

One of the most important aspects of being a successful developer is communication with other developers, and yet it is spoken about so little. Thanks for making this video man, it really can help

[Tip] Dev hangout games are really good if you dont got discord to join dev groups and hire devs your can allso hire devs in dev hangout games or ask your friends > smarty i would love to you to make a vid abt been a dev witheout discord bc this a really big issus for some ppl like ppl ask me sometimes how do you get works to do for robux without discord and even if you wanna do works ppl will prob ask for proofs and like work pics][many devs quit bc of this i wont say using discord is a bad thing for anyone or any dev i also enjoy it well like how discord make my life as a solo dev easire [ thank you so much smarty for your vids i have end up withe total of 70k robux just in 2 month (😂 many of my friends want me to buy items rn but i feel like investing the 70k on a big game wil make me more like hire devs to make a game

Love this video man. Im in 11th grade, been building on roblox since 7th and my builds have made a drastic difference between time. I was on many projects which all sadly failed, but now I came up with re making ro bio but way better than every other else. I have a list of details about how the game is going to work. I have a vision but I'm trying to get devs?

I will tell you all this time of year is hard to find developers that commit to anything due to schooling etc. it's a long journey to find people who will work. My studio fires devs left and right for not upholding their work and not working even if they are being paid well. Lots of devs are horrible with communication. Be careful as well and don't get scammed ensure you can trust someone before wasting time and money into them.

@henryman2451 my studio starts low level starting scripters at $15 an hour and we hire people all the time and fire them after a week or 2 because they just don't do any work or stick to agreed work they will do and or days they will work. It's ridiculous. It's been a hard time finding good devs.

my friend grunt has very little knowledge of scripting, how ever he can make models for games and hes a good R6 animator. if you want a R6 animator for your game you can hire my friend if you want to.

I really into this roblox studios thing when I was anything,but a young lad I was stumbling my little cursor though the developing apps then I found the place which was roblox studios I’m posting a lot of games right now I am not going to forget the time I first discovered it❤

Being solo with gpt teaching me is going well but things like voice acting and very complex fields are very difficult to achieve. Networking is my next option. Wish me luck

I try to be a developper, but all that for at final use chat gpt for script and he makes like 60 fake script until one work, so now i will do it myself, cause i can't communicate, im too shy and bad 😢. I founded an idea but it will probably take years. So i will start it in solo and probably quit it after a week.

Wait but if I don't know what im doing and its my first game, aont the person thats experienced be doing most of the work? Since not only will they be teaching me but also trying to get other stuff done

Yeah overall this doesn’t have to be making a game together just about making friends who you can talk with and gain insights and maybe make a game maybe not

That's not 100% true, if you manage to make a simple game with a great game design and advertising strategies you can definitely make it successful alone. But, if you do have the conditions to pay someone I would highly recommend you to do it.

ive been a solo dev for almost 3 years now, i just got my first ever dev and im so happy honestly.

I already stopped with developing in my own i have start with a team made a game since the game jam last summer (beta release soon (made in 3 mounths now))

See, i tried the team development thing once, didnt end well, and now i cant bring myself to trust anyone enough to let them have access and work on my game.

Please make a video on how to get trusted devs I have found many devs that needed something done but after I did the work they just scamed me.

Not sure that will be possible with you bringing value. You need to be a good enough coder/modeler/animator that other coders/modelers/animators of your same skill want to work with you. Start developing your skillset first.

I actually worked with someone to make a roblox game, he was the builder and I was the scripter. The game went good, but it was never published and stayed private :(.

AI is horrible for making code. If you are okay with wrestling with the AI for hours on end just to for it to spit out messy code, then you could do it. If you want to scale your game up though, you probably have to rebuild it from scratch.
