Our judiciary's legal action is max to max issuing a fine of 5 rs or giving them a good scolding. That's how they punish criminals. This is no less than terrorism to be importing Chinese goods and deceiving Indians who are coming together towards "Made In India" only products. This will totally demotivate them and again hate anything of Indian origins.

Now Flipkart is soon going to become snapdeal as because of their new 7 days service centre replacement.......no service agrees with replacement in service centre, according to me as if any guy smartphone has manufacturing defect then it should be replaced not repaired as what service centre says......

Last year in nov, the CCI had fined Google for monopoly, as it was found that they don't provide any third party payment support for their in app purchases. Later the NCLAT too had upheld that decision. So, it's not that everything's rigged and there's no point fighting against such scams. Tech companies can indeed be held accountable, albeit you know how to do that exactly.

I remember it was 5 years back (in 2018). I went to buy redmi 6a (a budget smartphone at that time, and quite popular, from a big smartphone retail store in our city. I went and asked for the unit. But the shopkeeper almost forced me to buy an ikall device, showing its specs, that it is better than redmi 6a in every possible way (like looks, battery, camera, display), and also in a lower price (5999) instead of 6599. Fortunately I didn't went for his words, and I still have my redmi 6a. Considering the budget, I agree but it is still workable till today, but thankfully I didn't buy that. I doubt whether it would have worked for 5 month even 😅...

I had Redmi note 6 pro until last year and it worked like a charm. Another brand which amazed me is LAVA which is super smooth in operation, has expandable memory, and has a very nice power backup (finger print sensor is very poor though and camera is below average but that doesn't matter if it is secondary phone). Got LAVA Blaze 5g around last year as second phone (primary is Samsung).

Online sites should put genuine effort to crosscheck the features n specs mentioned .There should be stringent consumer protection laws against malpractices.

I would say that Xiaomi, a Chinese brand that changed the entire smartphone industry by launching Mi 3 which comes with snapdragon 8 series chipset for jus ₹14000 literally saved all of us from using phones such as Micromax, lava, karboon etc..

You should never buy anything manufactured in this Meerut-Noida-Ghaziabad zone. The officials there are all corrupt to the core. They will give an approval certificate to something that doesn't even exist. It is well known that these several hundred crores spent on "sewage treatment", those plants have absolutely no machines or cleaning equipment, but they get their inspection certificate and they just direct the sewage water into the rivers.

Ok I'll give a small example, just for a moment think you're working for a company where you can choose your range of hours of work and range of your pay, naturally we'll end up choosing lowest work hours and highest pay, right? This is how most businesses are. Highest profit margin. But now, in the same example, if the person choosing is one who values work and time and has a very good moral compass he might choose differently. This is what I mean by ethical business practices. It's not impossible, it's just very hard to do - same as the example above. BTW I shouldn't have said business are the problem. I should've said the world run by characterless people are the problem. Thanks for pointing it out.

Buddy we get best returns when we buy made in India products only. I bought nokia 8.1 a Finland brand which was made in India on Nov 2018. I am still using it in 2024. Camera has been great and battery is as good as new.
