The easiest nut milk when in a hurry is a big spoonful of nut butter of choice added to filtered water in a blender, super easy and quick. Can add powered chocolate or vanilla too. 🤗

This is what Alton Brown would call a “single-tasker,” useless for anything but making nut milk. You can do the same thing with a quality blender and a strainer.

What about lecithin? I always add lecithin to keep the milk in solution so I don't have to shake it up every time I want to pour a glass of it. Also, if you want to add a preservative, honey makes an excelllent preservative. Question: Isn't the phytic acid in the SKINS of almonds? I always use SLIVERED almonds when making almond milk because the skins have been removed.

Passionfruit is in reality a berry, and not a fruit. I realize that 1 passionfruit has about 2g of carbs, what about fructose? When you cut open one of these beautiful 'fruits' there is a good amount of liquid and I worry about fructose going straight to liver storage. @@blschafer4310 none for the nut butter. Just an experiment. I made the full nut milk recipe today with warm water though. About 4 cups. Then about 60g macadamias. I added the other ingredient amounts in ratio to the macadamias. I think I topped the batch up with water after finishing too just to stretch it out.

By the way, thanks for getting me into Keto. I have lost 28 pounds since the end of October 2020, and I have dropped my fasting blood sugar from 192 to 87. I have also become fat adapted, and my body seems to enjoy burning fat as opposed to carbs. In fact, I have eaten carbs, but every time I do, I feel like crap and can't eat nearly as much at one sitting, than I used to. I am actually restarting Keto again today, and I am certain that the carb temptations won't be an issue. Thanks gain!

this guy lied to you Tranzor he is definitely not doing keto nor is he the "keto guy" Keto is NOT a sustainable diet you will soon learn that as he did and I did and many others do too .....Remember those words when you give up on keto ...keto is not sustainable. Your body runs primarily on Carbs man. Keto isn't that healthy either you could of lowered all of those health blood markers by just losing weight. Not trying to trash you but its very bad for you to be doing keto on day or so called keto diet and than the next regular your basically eating tons of healthy fats your triglycerides and bad cholesterol is going to go through the roof. I wish the you best though

@@BigDees19 Actually, Death. My Cholesterol and my triglycerides had improved greatly until I went off Keto, so you are wrong there, and what is your evidence that "this guy is not doing keto?" You are also assuming that I hadn't been doing anything before keto to lose weight, so you are dead wrong there too. I had been working with my doctors for a long time and did everything they told me to do, but when I was not getting the results, they just put me on pills. Pills for everything, right? Bullsh*t! After years of following their instructions to a "T, I went on Keto and within 2 1/2 months I lost 44 pounds, and ALL of my bio numbers were great. I even had other doctors tell me that what I was doing was healthy, so who should I listen to? Should I listen to the doctors who couldn't do anything for me and gave up? What about someone who calls themself death and thinks they know me or my body? I'm sorry to blast you like this, but I'm tired of people that say things like this; 1) without providing a shred of evidence to back it up 2) that dismiss the reality that my numbers improved the way they did by going on keto (I guess not having diabetes and having good bloodwork is unhealthy); and 3) to tell me that what I am doing is wrong without providing a different solution. Telling someone they would get better by losing weight isn't rocket science. No sh*t. That is why I tried Keto. Everything else I was trying did nothing for me but ^*&^ up my kidneys. I am actually going back on Keto because I miss the energy, the weight loss, the good numbers I was getting when I was on it before, and to be able to tie my freaking shoes without slipping a disc. Again, I am sorry if this is harsh, but I am going through a lot of other bullsh*t in my life right now, and the last thing I need is for "Death" to tell me how to live. If you are willing to give me real solutions, invest your time and energy in to helping me, and stop pretending you know anything about me, I here to listen. I too really do wish you well.
