The Occupational Therapy Entry-level Doctorate program at Stony Brook University will prepare students to become licensed occupational therapists, with excellent skills in leadership, scholarship, advocacy, and clinical competence. Doctorally prepared occupational therapists are ready to assume a variety of professional roles as an administrator, educator, researcher, clinician and scholar.
This program will ensure that students develop the theory, practice, and research-based skills to become entry-level therapists, with advanced knowledge in a topic of interest as it relates to their chosen Doctoral Capstone project.
