Stonehenge Sound Shield Mystery Revealed

Discover the incredible acoustics of Stonehenge! This megalith creates a fascinating sound shield for the human voice, showcasing the incredible craftsmanship of ancient architects. Explore the world of ancient archeology and the mysteries of megaliths in this fascinating video!
Ground-penetrating scans have revealed the original placement of additional megaliths at Stonehenge. Researchers at the University of Salford in the UK have used this information to build a 1/12th scale model. In addition, damaged stones were reconstructed. Then the simulated stones were treated to mimic the acoustic properties of the original megalithic stones.
Subsequent studies indicate that Stonehenge is designed to modify sound, particularly the human voice. A kind of shield is formed to reflect words and mantras back to those inside the stone circle. Words that are spoken or sung are kept inside the stone circle by reflecting off the outer stones.
This indicates that Stonehenge was designed for rituals involving recitations, music, and chanting.
