Man, this game has changed. I remember when it just threw you in. Good times.

Underground tunnel is an AWSOME IDEA LATH!

I purchased this game and played for two days straight after watching your let's try. Thanks! You videos continue to help me learn quite a bit. To return the favor I wanted to offer some things I discovered that I did not see your do in your series so far.1) If your citizen is trapped and you don't want to deform the terrain to get him out/down, build a ladder (found in your home icon).2) Don't forget to pick up items dropped from NPC by using the loot option found in the Sword Icon. Animal pelts are really good to sell/craft.3) If a threat enters your town, Alert the citizens with the shield icon found under your sword Icon. This will enable the citizens to defend themselves if attacked by something the soldier is not occupying.4) If workers bug out and stop functioning like they should, I have used the alert button to call them to the town center and then return them back to normal mode. This has snapped them out of what ever they were confused about for me.Hope this helps. Keep the series coming. I dig em!

Lathrix one thing with Stonehearth. If there is no ways for the monsters to get to you. They will spawn pretty much either in your village or next to it instead of a little way away.I suggest building a big bridge to the mainland quickly so hopefully the goblins and stuff will spawn on the mainland and give you a small area to defend with your soldiers.

I've purchased "From the Depths" and Stonehearth" both games i never realized i wanted until i saw your channel.

This looks like a cute, happy version of Banished (with more customization). I like.

Just watching you rerolling for new stats makes me wish it just gave you a group of 1/1/1s and gives you an amount of points which you can random or assign based on what you are going to play like, I feel it would add more to the games replay value, hopefully we see it one day :D

i really good use of space senesce your on an island make your buildings 2 or more floors like the sleeping area you can then have more people sleep there and protect them easyer

lath if you put rows of farms where each row of farm is a separate field you can double your space efficiency but the rows have to be put down in the same line as the crops grow

I so wish they added seed selection so i could actually play this map xD oh WAIT! They did! Yay! xD Now i have to actually get it working so i can play. I have a weird bug where i click it, steam says its running, but it actually doesnt. Gotta love bugs xD Also, i believe the ground was made out of dirt, or maybe the villagers actually spawn with wood in their inventory, in case you desperately must use ladders when you start, although that would obviously be redundant now that you can dig tunnels.

+The Solo Operative Oh yeah, and you should probably get some people working on just making a ton of shields. They sell so well and they are so cheap that you can literally just pump out shields and weapons and just be a supplier of armaments. Then use your profits to buy stone, build a load of stone walls around the island tunnel, then post guards there, and only send people out to gather necessary resources. Then build out artificial land over the water, but don't connect it to the land. Then, if the tunnel is captured, you can use a worker to flood it, preventing access to the island until you are ready. I mean, draining the tunnel would be incredibly hard, but =P it's a total last resort thing, where you only have civilians, and the enemy is something your militia cannot stop xD gives you immunity form the enemy, and if you cannot muster strong enough people, you can always just go underground and prosper by digging tunnels underground, then opening the tunnel, grabbing what you need, and sealing it again before the enemy arrives to get in. If you fail and they get in, just build a wall blocking off the tunnel.

I was just thinking about if it was "fair" in game terms to have enemies spawn on the island. Doesn't that take away from the logic of using water (or a moat) as a defense for your settlement?
