    We're having our factory extension done with preform concrete. I often watch them set the pieces in place. The accuracy is astounding. All the insulation is already there. Concrete is an amazing material

    I designed the walls for a precaster for 10+ years. Great product. We got into radius portions, 45s, 90s.. we used 3sf, 6sf, 25sf and stuff. Did some 3D modeling for Dan Thiel(?) To come up with custom blocks, pretty sweet gig

    That’s awesome, I would love to get into that. I’m just a traditional 3D modeler for commercial work, and I’ve always thought that making precast stuff like this would be more fulfilling since it actually gets used in the real world.

    No creo que pudiese aguantar su propio peso en vilo, sin estructura de acero. Los cáncamos deben estar vinculados a dicha estructura, por otra parte, el hormigón, si no se hace por volúmenes de tres a uno, se hace por peso específico de su componentes; árido fino, grueso, aglomerante y agua.

    No, they are used for walls along side of roads to hold back the dirt. Let's them make a square cut, instead of a stair step when cutting through the hills.

    Nice.. Build the base of a Church.. or other civil building.. pin it together. I'm using 18"x24"x 48"s because that is about the realistic capacity of my tractors (75% of their pin lift) for a wall for shelter - garage (no doors , NO TAXES) .

    Just wondering... can anybody show these things being put into place? It's a very beautiful product... but what the heck is this used for? Buildings? Highway overpasses? Bridges? It's funny... but whenever I see these things, I always think they are made by individual bricks hewn from stone. It never crosses my mind that these are all big pieces of concrete. I guess they're doing what they're supposed to do. Good job!

    These are used for large gravity retaining walls, and sometimes used as private bridge abutments for short spans.

    I've inspected retaining walls for a decade. 40' high, these things are probably for something much greater. Just normal block most of the time. This would be some damn level stuff or something. Maybe something with ocean?

    I heard somewhere that to build the great pyramid a block had to be set like every three minutes to complete it in a life time. I don't think modern technology has caught up to ancient man judging by the length of this video.

    A couple of tips to save production cost, minor points of efficiency. 1 - Stop "cleaning up" the blocks. When construction of the wall is being done on site, all that flashing will be disposed of inside the wall and you will have less to sweep up from the factory floor. It's not going to get in anybody's way so just leave it to get broken up in the construction process and left there. 2 - That will eliminate the need for the tarp on those tires, which I suppose is not to protect the tires. lol
