Saw them 7 times in-between 2003 and 2018, I watched them evolve. Corey personally called me to come back stage in 2018 Rockville after the show in front of 20000 people. My very best concert memory. Special place for Stone Sour, especially this era.

Jim likes not being seen, he doesn't care.

Only thing that annoys me about this era of Stone Sour is that Jim stopped singing. He and Corey harmonised amazingly. Guess they were just trying to distance themselves from the Alice in Chains influenced style they had. Shame

corey's such a showman to the crowd... that why hes my favorite vocalist....and he is great at singing!..... he gets people clapping, singing, jumping, moshing, HE LEARNS THEIR LANGUAGE!!!! just plain awesome

Oh thank you for the clarifacation =D. Yeah I don't think its his mask, but the further he gets to the end of there tour his voice just needs a rest and it sounds wrong and off. I saw them on May 13 2009 (Friday the 13th) in Baltimore and his voice sounded better then ever!

Sorry dude, but that's bullshit (no offence) He didn't change it back because he liked it, he didn't even change it back, he just found out that the way he does it now is the best for his vocal chords. It's true that his voice got better when he stopped drinking, but it's NOT EVEN CLOSE to what it was back in the days

It was because of his alcohol Addiction

for one the corpsegrinder never drank, smoked or did anything to fuck up his voice, there were even times on slipknots first tour that corey trained his voice, hes been through a lot of shit, and his high screams aren't even as good as they were in the vol. 3 days, so you can say he doesn't try but we'll have to wait for the next SS album to see where hes really at.
