Same. Pretty much every time everyone was walking back to their position I was running to second base

Nope, the ball remains live after a walk and baserunners can attempt to steal a base. Pitchers need to remain alert.

The runner on first was the batter that got walked. Nobody called 'time' so he went on to 2nd base.

What is going on in baseball and other things today they act like this is some kind of heads up. Great play literally of course this is normal. This is what you paid to do seen it 100 times. But not this day and all of a sudden he’s a superhero.

there should be a rule against this on a walk.

Are you sure? Are you sure it's not the pitch clock? Are you sure it's not the strike zone that is different with every batter and arbitrarily called balls and strikes by the umpire? Are you sure it's not the mysterious balk rule that never seems to be applied right and the same way twice. Are you sure it's not starting a runner on second base in extra innings to end the game quicker? Are you sure it's not the fact that in almost every double play no one actually steps on second base to make the force out but they still give it to them anyway? I don't know. I think baseball is full of stupid rules and now that the umpires have glass feelings and throw everybody out for farting in their direction it's gotten even worse. Baseball is completely unwatchable to me and many others now.

I like how the cameras fly around on ropes in baseball, recording everything interesting going on
