Hi, very interesting, but maybe nature has shown us the way? The chances of anything being built there is pretty much zero, so let's make it into a wildlife park. It needs a secure fence and Alan Titchmarsh on steroids to get it done, but it could be nice once complete. Paying a parkie to chase off the druggies would be a heck of a lot cheaper than spending more money on more "consultants" I'll bet you. The council really have to just face the fact that the city has no reason to exist anymore. Used to be in Security at Fuchs, some of that land used to be Fuchs, sold to the council many years ago, I remember the plans for housing and a cinema, food courts etc, don’t think it will ever happen as Hanley is dead now.

Yep houses and shops were all along there even BT had a place there one time and of course les Brooke’s father of Bruno Brooke’s had a car wash down there the railway pub the continental bar etc. that’s how long it’s been abandoned

U went look on clough street hanley where the trucks park up on the main road they dump all there rubbish there

Amidst the sad sights there was a snippet of information for me ... I wondered what had happened to Century Oils and now I know. A friend of mine used to be a chemist in the labs there back in the 80's so I was a bit confused on one of your other vids where you went down that way and there was no sign of the place.

Stoke isn't unique but it is in massive trouble. The town centres are finished - no one wants to open businesses when all there are around are vape shops and barbers (money laundering operations) - it isn't even just a question of low wages. Loss of town centres damages sense of belonging/identity with people no longer having reasons to go out and meet their neighbours.

Thank god I left 9 years ago hate tge place 😮

Stoke 😮 One should not only question the council ,question residents mentality,if. Had shit around my house I would clean it up and expect neighbors to do the same .In this place people not only choose to live amongst the mattresses ,rubbish as seen in your brilliant well documented videos but constantly add to it to save a few pounds dumping it legally.disgusting .The most depressing place on Earth 🌏
