You saved me putting a m3k back together, tricky, but your expert teaching made it easier 🤩Thankyou , Happy Holidays
Good Video. Thanks
I just bought M3K from P&D this weekend, great timing !
Now it’s my first time cleaning the M3500 and when I was hitting the pin out a long spring and what looks like a plunger in plastic with a metal cap flew out. Can anyone tell me what happened and what direction it goes back in?
When we remove the pin holding the mechanism rotating head shaft of your rifle, can you replace it with the same frequency? and does your rifle work properly?
When I reassembled the bolt and put my new M3000 together, I can hear the inertia spring sliding back and forth within the bolt when the bolt is open. It doesn’t do that when the bolt is closed. Is this normal? I do not want to fire it until I get this figured out.

Yeah, the inertia spring is free to move in there.
What stops the bolt retaining pin from coming out while firing

It can only go out the left and the receiver is there.
Do you know if it's 3 inch, or is is it a 3.5 inch? Semper Fidelis

The M3500 is 3.5", the M3000 is 3"
In M3000 series model rifles, the mechanism shackle pin is punched manufacturing and is a soft material. In my opinion, this is a wrong design because if you remove the mechanism shackle pin once, you cannot replace it with the same tightness, the pin shakes in the bed. I will never accept this wrong design in a firearm, I will always continue to criticize it, but I am curious. Why did the engineers decide to manufacture this design with a soft material and punch instead of a steel pin???
