One thing that is really easy to do, color dots. That way you just have a sign with the cost of each color. Also HIGHLY suggest creating your own FB Group and adding people that you trust to that. Makes it easy to update your buyers with what you get and creates a much simpler way to sell when you know who is buying. Not to mention if you get certain families that buy items to send overseas!

I resell my stuff at flea markets. I give a costumer a deep discount when they send stuff overseas.

Had my first stockpile sale and also sold stuff for WAAYYY too cheap! Had a $.50 table, $1 table, $2 table and then the $3+ table. Made it super easy so people weren't asking me prices all day! Lol.

Thanks for sharing. Im finally going to do a stockpile sale in our community yard sale. I live in a semi rural area and the yard sale doesnt normally draw a lot of peoole, but Im hoping it will. Great sale! I price mine lower as well. It’s usually 40-50% off Walmart for most items. I think like you and that I got most of it free or close to it so as long as I’m getting my money back and making a good profit I’m happy. 😁 My next sale is in a few wks and I always worry people won’t show up. That’s never the case but I still worry about it. Lol

When I have my garage sale I also sell items for cheap. And what doesn’t sell I donate to the church for their sale. Stock pile stuff I then donate to food shelf. Sometimes it’s the police that take the signs down. It’s not allowed.

Yes they say signs can be a liability and cause accidents.

At .50 for travel size items is a steal. Most of that stuff goes for 2.00 now. Your prices are cheap.

People take my signs too and it's aggravating, now I only put one directly near the entrance to my sale. I don't know if I'm gonna be able to have a sale this year because I've been having some medical issues 😢 and I don't want to over do it.

Just go replace the signs! Id just keep sending my kids down thay way or have them hold signs up

P.S. have you considered making boxes and charging postage for those wanting to purchase from you from out of state/town?

In our state it is illegal to put a sign on a utility pole. $$$ fine, or time in jail! 😮

I never put my signs up till 6 am that morning as our local council workers take them down if you put them up on a Friday? I see the county worker at the busy intersection around 4 pm every Friday.

Have you checked the size of your signs and height against the local traffic laws? My mom had our signs taken down by DOT a while back because they were "too high off the ground". They claimed that it formed an obstruction though they obstructed nothing. Just a thought since you said it happens repeatedly.
