haha.. am in Edmonton Alberta, north of mcgregor lake.

Its just like a copper john used in fly fishing. It resembles an emerging midge pupa or really alot of different emerging insect pupa. Also if you add peacock hearl to the head it works a little better but is not needed.

This lure works just as well for ice fishing as it does in open water.

Would you use a few split splits in between the bobber and hook, or would it be straight hook and bobber?

Im having one hell of a time trying to get something to bite here in washington state.. Its whitefish season on the Yakima River, and sadly im a horrible fly fisherman. Im going to give this a try

We fished mostly clear water so I can not say for sure about silty water.

What size of a hook should I use
