And now some bonus historical information.............. Hello James, The stone is a memorial stone or gravestone once placed upon the grave of Thomas Laurencii, (Thomas Larsson) who died 1518. The stone was found in the 1870s on the cemetery of the (Cistercian) monastery that was located close to the present manor house. The Cistercian monastery was in operation between the years 1180 to 1527. The inscription translates: Anno Domini, 1518 obi (obituary) Thomas Larurencii (Thomas Larsson) Best regards, Maria Ingras, Julita gård
