Thjis video presents the bells c1 -d1 -f1 -g1 -a1 [do3 -re3 - fa3 -sol3 -la3] of St. Oswald church in Stockach, southern Germany.
➥ The oldest bell in St. Oswald's [2] dates back to 1734. It was cast by the Constance bell founder Rosenlecher and fortunately survived all forced conscriptions as a beautifully decorated, high baroque bell.
After the Second World War, only this bell remained from the 1933 new cast ringing of the parish church.
This instrument was finally supplemented in 1950. The Schilling foundry in Heidelberg, which was not yet widely known at the time, was approached to manufacture four new bells [1+3+4+5]. At that time, the light bell shape was probably also chosen for economic reasons.
Due to the fantastic tower acoustics, but also the outstanding quality of these early Schilling bells, this light shape is not noticeable in a negative way. An impressive choir unfolds in the enormous tower hall, which resounds with remarkable sonority thanks to the optimal sound dispersion of the octagon in front of the church.

The sound very similar with our Hanh Thong Tay Cathedral
Even in his early casting years (1949 and so on), FW Schilling bells were remarkable, to say the least.

Das hört sich hier von oben besser als von unten an. Unten ist das doch eine recht magere Angelegenheit, da merkt man schon, daß die Glocken frühe FWS-Glocken und leichtrippig sind....

Ich muss sagen, dass das Ganze Richtung des Pfarrhauses schon eine sehr eindrückliche Wirkung hat.
Hm, also irgendwie sind Klöppel und Joche hier keine Optimallösung: Kopfholz deutlich zu massiv und die Klöppel dann ebenfalls. An sich aber natürlich ein ganz akzeptables Geläut in dankbarer Tonfolge.

Wobei man natürlich sagen kann, dass die großen Kopfhölzer für die dynamische Einstellung nicht hinderlich sind.

@@GlockenfampfDas sicherlich nicht, aber wenn dann die Klöppel leichter sind (als hier), wirds mit dem beidseitigen Anschlag immer schwieriger bzw. wird ein immer höherer Winkel benötigt.
Der Kirchenarchitekt lässt sich unschwer erraten ^^ Doch, das Geläut gefällt mir nicht schlecht, aber die Rosenlächerin ist nicht so mein Fall!

Das Geläut ist ein gutes Beispiel für die leichtrippigen Frühwerke. Ich persönlich fand das Ganze doch relativ ansprechend.
Sehr schönes Ensemble die d‘ kann sich relativ ok durchsetzen, die c‘ ist klanglich nicht ganz so meins, und in zweite Glockenstube hätte man vielleicht noch eine A° (Im besten Fall barock erhalten von Rosenlächer) sonst natürlich FWS mit 3t aufhängen können, das Geläut gefällt mir so aber auch sehr, die c‘ finde ich halt nicht das beste Fundament

Die c' zeigt klar das leichtrippige Klangbild. Das kann sie nie ganz verheimlichen. Dabei ist sie allerdings trotzdem ein sehr klangvolles Instrument.
