Stock Slash Upgrades!

In this video we give some helpful tips on some upgrades for the Traxxas slash! I hope every one is enjoying are videos! Dad and I have really enjoy making them. I'd like to thank Pauly, Claire, and Dave for lending us their trucks to make our videos! We have had 10 NEW SUBSCRIBERS in the last 24 hours thank to all our subscribers! One of are upcoming videos is a break down of Granite Bluff's 6 classes! Also, I will be making the next episode of "The Start of Granite Bluff" soon. Many other videos to come! Please like and Subscribe!
Here is a list of upgrades that you can add to your slash that are legal (in most stock slash classes)!
1. LCG kit
(Lowers the truck making it more stable over bumps)
2. RPM bearing careers and caster blocks
(This makes the truck very durable I've never broke one or seen one broke)!
3. Red spring ( Putting on traxxas red springs makes the shocks work way better!)
4. Savox servo (Way more durable than stock servo and no glitching)
5. Aluminum bell crank (Helps with durability. The Aluminum bell crank has bearings where as the plastic has bushings)

I use Protek 100t Servo. About 10 bucks cheaper at 49 and it’s amazing!

Upgrading the caster block is definitely the first thing you wanna do, when i first bought mine I snapped my wheel on the second day because of how weak it is. I suggest buying the aluminum ones

You can also buy the Savox SC0251MG steel gears and upgrade the gears on the 2075 servo but the problem is that the power chip burns out on it I use powerhd servos on erevo 2.0 and slash I've had no issues.

I would also suggest switching the stock shock towers to RPM also. I broke the rear stock shock tower shortly after driving on a track with the many jumps.

im a basher and i have a rustler 20$ rustler 2wd that i have upgraded and run alot! also have 4 stampede 2wds thst my siblings and dad run. i have found that the front bearing carrier and caster blocks when having the rpm ones on the pins seem to bend on us because cuz its too flex able so im currently running rpm bearing carrier and hot racing aluminum hub carrier and havent bent the pins yet. but we bash and jump our cars alot. great video god bless

To find the music I use for intros: 1. Open a photo on your computer 2. Click edit and create in the upper right. 3. Under the edit and create tab, click create a video with music. This will open windows movie editor. 4. In the upper right of the editor click add background music. 5. The music I used for the intro is called Anodized. Glad you enjoyed the video! :) If you have any more questions feel free to ask or email me at granitebluffrcraceway@gmail.com

I'd rather stick to the stock caster blocks or go for some aluminum ones, sure the RPM caster blocks will never break, but they're very flexible and will bend the hinge pins if the truck lands at a weird angle or if you hit something.

Instead of getting a new servo you should just get metal gears. $27 VS $60

It depends on how big the track is. I use a 21-23 tooth pinion gear on big tracks that have long straightaways. For smaller tracks with tight corners I use a 19-21 tooth pinion gear.
