I was allotted 700 Hotel Rugby in Nov.1994 @ INR 35.- per share. Today it is quoting at around INR 5.- and the Co. has not paid any dividend in the last 28 Years. Similarly, I was allotted 60# 3M Ltd. In July 1990 at INR 10.- each which is now quoting at INR 20,000.00 per share approx. I am still holding both the stocks. Generalising stock market on some extreme examples is absolutely UNCALLED FOR. Proves nothing-makes you no wiser for future investments. Just great storytelling for the consumption of those who have started investing the market recently.
