Stob Dubh (Buachaille Etive Beag) trying to overcome Vertigo without the kids

Stob Dubh (Buachaille Etive Beag) we came back to see if Lorna could overcome the only ridge and final climb of Stob Dubh (turned back in May this year). With 37 in the bag and building confidence watch to see if Lorna managed to keep building and overcoming the crippling Vertigo….

Well done Lorna! New subscriber here. I did Stob Dubh last Sunday as my very first Munro, better late than never, I guess (I'm 67) Skipped the other summit because it was getting late. Saw another of your videos which inspired me to take on Beinn Ghlas and Ben Lawers on Tuesday. Big mistake - the weather was horrendous. I managed to get all the way up Beinn Ghlas and ticked off my 2nd Munro. But I had no views as it was clagged in. And me and Skye were drenched to the bones at that point. I decided to continue down to the bealach as it would be very steep to walk back the same way we came. As soon as we reached the bypass path I decided to give Ben Lawers a miss this time. We headed back by the more sheltered path. So I have good memories of my first Munro but of the second not so good 😉

Amazing. You have did so well in only a few days. We did Beinn Ghlas first, eventually came back for Lawers. Recently did An Stuc so actually been on Lawers and Beinn Ghlas three times each. They are amazing and never boring to do again. Thanks for comment one of our best yet. Hopefully the videos help. Best of luck 😊

@@Kidsoncrags Thanks for your kind words. I have also considered An Stuc when I go back and do Ben Lawers. I've watched a few KZread channels I think it was on Hiking with Frank that the other way up An Stuc is quite steep. And I'll probably go up Ben Lawers via the bypass track as I don't really need to go up Beinn Ghlas again. Unless the weather is fine and I want to see the views 😉
