I Love Mr. Carson. He has a beautiful kind face. I would have brought him home too!
Your videos video made my day! You always make me laugh. Beautiful projects. I love your lamb bags❤ I forgot to say that bear is adorable!
I love John! He is lovely, And I also think that one of the reasons I love connecting with you as I feel like you are a kindred spirit. I too love teddys and can't resist them to bring home sometimes as well. Aside from his tail, his face is too sweet for a Tassie devil but his colour markings sure are that of the Tassie devil yes.
What a memory! Campbell's Soup had a bright red and white tin and had two little children smiling enjoying soup in all their adverts. Enjoy your new kids! Your beautiful bear looks like he might nick all your honey and jam when no one is looking. You always make me smile. Thank you for the joy dearest Paula.
I have just finished watching every single one of your videos up to this one, since finding you in March! Loved them all. You are a joy to watch. I love everything that you knit, crochet and sew. I have many of the patterns you have or are stitching in my Ravelry and can’t wait to get to them all Some day. The Battenberg Blanket is looking amazing! I also consider myself a beginner crocheter and wonder if I can stitch those little squares. James is going to love the Sock scrap blanket. He will be able to see all of his socks on one place, LOL Now on to watching the latest video about a new baby ❤️
I adore that blanket and it’s not letting leftovers be thrown away or wasted. It’s pretty. If you want a teddy bear no matter what age you are then you get one.
I was practically hysterical when you said, “they could have just climbed the ironing pile” 🤣🤣 I love John (Charlie) Carson, what a sweet face, I couldn’t have left him behind either. I knitted a blanket with my left over sock yarn held with an off white 4 ply, I love it! It’s great when this stuff makes us happy. 😊 Thanks for a lovely video Paula. Take care xx
That new bear looks like he would eat all the honey and jam in your house at night 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🙏❤️
We love watching your vlogs and podcasts Paula ❤..... how are you getting on with the story about Jackie and Debbie?.... can't wait to see it 😂xx
The Campbell's kid doll, they are from Campbell's soups and we used to have commercials where they promoted the soups. Great find
John has the most adorable face
Aww Paula you poor thing I had Covid and I was the same it went on forever it was the cough that was the worst Love Gary ❤❤❤ and all of your socks It's a nightmare getting a passport we had a problem with my daughter too hope you get better soon xxx
You're such a delight
I like the name Charlie Carson better it seems to suit him !! I love all your work Paula ❤️
Oh my goodness! I have a slight headache, I am cold and hungry…..I thought I would get up and make myself a sandwich and a cuppa then watch KZread. I thought, oh, I hope Paula has posted a podcast as I just need to sit and relax with a friend…..and there you were!!! Going to the kitchen now and then I will be back to watch. Thanks Paula
Loving James’s blanket it’s looking so nice, your battenburg is going to be beautiful too. The sheep and lamb bags are adorable, have a lovely weekend love and hugs xx
I’d really love to hear about James and Lizzy’s Snowdonia trip! I’m hoping to do it myself one day x
I love Mr Carson!!!!! And I just love when you talk with the dolls and stuffies. You could do a puppet show or something like that. Or even a little video with the dolls and your voice. Thank you so much for your videos. You’re my favorite favorite favorite ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh John Carson really suits his name! 😊 love him. I would love to see the one lizzie has too. I have a Charlie Bear which was bought for me by a friend. She is called Heather just like me lol Hope you enjoyed your pizza x
If 1977 is vintage I'm antique 😁
I love John Carson, and you're right he has oodles of personality. James's sock blanket is beautiful, the Pixie yarn blanket is also gorgeous!! The sheep bags are so cute. You are so talented. I remember the Campbell's soup kids on the soup cans. My Grandmother even bought me a book that was filled with their adventures.
Love James blanket , i love scrappy projects. I look forward to your vlogs, they are great to crochet and knit while watching. John Carson has such a sweet yet mischievous face.
The Campbell's doll is a character on the packaging for Campbell's Soup here in the USA. Vintage. Sending love to you from Massachusetts. Love you, Paula!!! 🥰💖💕
I'm not surprised you fell in love with the teddy, he's gorgeous! ❤
I love John/Charlie!! He’s got some character. ❤
Those vintage bags are gorgeous!!!💚🤍❤️🐑🍎🍃
Thanks Paula Love all your beautiful makes. Love John Carson too such a lovely face.
John Carson welcome to the world. Oh the mountains on ironing we have climbed! Good to see you as always! Thank you Paula
Susan has arrived and she is a good little kitty! Thank you! You do incredible work.
Hi Paula, great to see you, loving all your crafty endeavours, bless Lillian she has such a characterful face, shame Ian didn’t make an appearance , next time, hugs Suze 🤗🧶🥰 xxx
Well hello Paula; we haven’t seen you for a bit. I like to listen and watch a bit while I knit or crochet. Usually I put you up on the big TV screen so my husband recognizes you when you come on 😁
O Paula just had to comment today. The bear!!!! My local wool shop use yo sell them and I have 6 I think. I ended up not having eye contact with any of them because they chose you!!! I totally understand what you mean.😂 so funny x❤
I love watching your videos!! John Carson is very cute!! Lillian is adorable! The Campbell Kids--there's a boy and a girl doll--were used to advertise Campbell's soup in probably the 50s and 60s. The dolls are very collectible, and, in the US, are generally quite expensive. Quite a good find!
Welcome to John Carson 👍🏻👍🏻
The dolls you got were great finds. Beautiful sweater you are knitting. It’s just such a beauty!
Well Paula what a chatty good vlog you have given us this time a plethora of goodies I hope you sort your crochet hook sizes There are progress keepers with hook sizes on them Ali ( LDOW) showed them on a vlog quite a while ago ( she was having same issues )
I love the sheep bags! As a shepherdess, I think I am required to buy one. 😊
Hahaaa, the ironing pile 😂😂😂. Enjoyed your video Paula. Thank you 😊 xxx
Carol and her flipping kangaroo, nothing but trouble, I’m not surprised the others want to move into their own place. Lovely to see you as always Paula, sorry you missed out on a couple of things at the auction, it’s so annoying I know.
Lots of memories in that sock blanket A good idea
Thanks for Suzi my black and white kitten Paula. She's company for my Flora bunny. They've had a couple of punch ups but I think they've calmed down a bit now and seem to be getting on OK. Lovely bags and blankets!
Lovely Paula you’re a breath of fresh air you cheer me up thank you we re having a bad time hubby been struggling with mobility for two years now been diagnosed with vasculitis and legs all black sore holes and been told will never get better on,y worse so but down he’s only55 am the oldie at 70 my heart is breaking watching him struggle keep up the good work xxx
I love your videos Paula can't wait to see your new dolls xx
Oh Paula Mr Carson is such a gorgeous bear, can quite understand why you had to get him. All your blankets are lovely . ❤
Hi Paula, thank you for Polly the kitten, she is very lovely, and has settled in well with the rest of the gang. I was so excited to sit down last night and find a new video from you! You always cheer me up, so thank you for your brilliant blogs or vlogs??😜 Your new bags look beautiful, and I’ll try my best to get one. Your shop always makes me nervous, everything sells so quickly, great for you, but nerve wracking for me!!😂 I don’t blame you having to take Mr Carson home, he’s adorable! I have a few of Charlie Bears teddies, they’re all so lovely. If you’re ever in Cornwall I really recommend a visit to their shop and museum, it’s amazing, You won’t leave there empty handed, I promise! Thank you as always for a lovely video. Love you lots xxx
Hello Paula. Love your channel., just wanted to try and help if I can with a tip you really could do with a floor craft lamp it hangs over head so knitting is allowed after dark and it doesnt interfere with rest of room even on a dark day they really help. Treat yourself you won't look back xxx
Morning Paula👋Great to catch up.I hope you know that your cute Tassie Devil John is the exception to the rule..his siblings over this way are noisy, growly ..bit like cute Mr Koala, who can fool the tourists with his sharp claws and growls too..Hope you have a happy week. Thanks for a great episode 🙏♥️🐨🌏xx
Your blankets are beautiful, Paula! 🪻🌷🌸🌼🌻🌹 Your bags are beautiful too! 🐈⬛
I love your bear so much. Definitely more of a bear than a Tasmanian devil, I live in Tasmania and none of our devils are that cute.
also excellent as Midge nets in Scotland
Hi Paula I love your new bear he’s adorable thank you for sharing love all your making James blanket has grown x
I’m pretty sure it’s a Campbell Soup Kid. They used to advertise having soup and a sandwich for kids lunches when Campbell was putting out new soups way back in the late 50’s early 60’s , post WWII. Carson or Jon the Tasmanian Devil is gorgeous, he has such character in his face. I think he’d look great in an Aran jumper or a nice red one. All your projects are coming along nicely, I love the pink one, it will be lovely in the summer. Take care, be well. 🥰🙋🏼♀️
Did you ever think about tracing the pieces for Uncle Simon and re-creating one for yourself? You are such an excellent sewist I would think you could do it and then you would have an Uncle Simon again. It’s a matter of finding the right type of fabric in the right colors. The internet has it all. I loved Uncle Simon and miss seeing him on the podcast. Your bags are wonderful. Sadly, I live in the US so they get a bit pricy for me. But I do love them. I have enough project bags so I can not justify the purchase. Besides, by the time I get to your shop everything is always gone. That’s good news for you. I always love your podcasts and watch them as soon as I see they are up. Enjoy your start to summer!
❤❤❤
Yippeee…Friday night chat with Paula! Thank you! Love Mr Carson, can’t wait to hear what you call the matelot! 🛳️😊
Gday from Tasmania Australia. 🇦🇺 your bear is very cute and cuddly. A lot different to Tasmanian devils in the wild! The Tasmanian devil (Sarcophilus harrisii) got its name from early European settlers who upon hearing mysterious unearthly screams, coughs and growls from the bush decided to investigate further. Finding the dog-like animal with red ears, wide jaws and big sharp teeth led them to call it "The Devil". It’s a lot different to the cartoon character Taz too. I definitely wouldn’t like to try and put a jumper on one and I would be keeping an extra careful eye on your Guinea pigs when they come into the house too😊
Not sure whether this message will get through as I’m a bit behind with watching stuff at the moment, but I’d like to ask about your colour changing/sock blankets. They look so effective and I’ve also got loads of sock wool left over. I haven’t crocheted for years and would be very grateful for a quick description of how you start them off and then the stitch you use. Still looking forward to each and every video!!!
My mother had robe when I was younger and that pink and red design and this reminds me of it for some reason.
Hi Paula! Love the new addition to you fur baby collection! It’s a long way off but you are going to love being a grandma🤗All the baby knits and crochet! My brother n law retired from the Campbell’s Soul Co in Paris TX so I know the doll very well…it’s very cute!! Thanks for the video…I love all your makes🤗
Hi Paula love all the blankets ❤oh I wanted to hug Lillian her wee face she's so cute❤🐶 your bear is lovely, have a lovely weekend xx
❤
So excited to see a nice long vlog from you Paula, chilling on my bed with my Lurcher dog x
Hello Paula. We are ninety degrees Fahrenheit this afternoon. It would be nice to have cooler weather, but this is what happens in the south of Georgia. Hope you are well. So happy you were able to get the dolls. I remember theCampbells kid. Cutie pie!
Hi Paula! ❤. Love your flowery top today. Very pretty. I assume it’s a dress. Just lovely!
Lovely to see you back Paula , have a lovely weekend take care
Enjoyed this so & all your lovely projects!!❤😊
i love the pixie yarn clubs, your blanket is going to be so beautiful!! thanks for keeping me company while i knit on a shawl test knit on a very grey and grizzly day in Melbourne, australia.
Lovely lovely sheep bags Paula ❤
Hi Paula. I love a teddy bear and i would find it hard not to but the Tasmanian devil especially if i held him 🙈🧸. Your bookish cardi is looking fab. That has now gone on my ever growing list of things i want to make. 😊
Oh my! Love John Carson!
Yay another great vlog ❤ xx
Love John 🐻 he’s very handsome ❤
Beautiful work xx
I definitely couldn’t leave John Carson behind either. We like a bear in our house too, in fact a house isn’t a home without a few bears. We had our daughters cat to stay last week and I showed him a video of Ian with his bell. I have bought Sherlock a bell too. Well he was very disinterested and looked quite alarmed when I started singing. I think it’s fair to say that although he’s altogether fabulous he’s not as talented as Ian (bell wise)
I'm the same with a dark brown jumper I'm making for my Mister, I want to get on and make it but during the day I'm crocheting snoods for my shop and in the evening I can't see it clearly enough not to stuff it up.
From Cambells soup commercials ,
hello Mr Carson
Tasmanian devils eat everything! Lock up your larder! He’s gorgeous, and I can definitely see Carson in him… isn’t that funny?! He should definitely be called Carson. 😅
I wonder if it’s not the Campbell’s soup doll???
I think George might be non binary . Your cardigan is gorgeous! Bridget R
How do you keep the cats from jumping up and knocking all of your knick knacks and dolls down?
the blanket looks like it is pixelated
Hi Paula. It's a lovely cardigan in trans flag colors for "George". Well done 👍. Curious with a rather dumb question, but how did you come with your company name? I'm sure it's simple. Just not everyone uses an abbreviated letter for a name usually with children mostly. I'm sure you are Mrs D. But did people call you that beforehand. Just being nosey and if too personal I would respect that for an answer. Take care
❤❤❤
