Thanks for your stitch with me. I watched you very closely at the beginning and was going "oh no" when you put the stitch in the wrong place. Thank goodness you realized right away. I am sure glad you said at the end that you been stitching like this for 30 years, because I was wondering how fast you found the stitches you had to stitch. Great progress. I haven't done a full cross stitch project yet, but I think I will try one now. Thanks and happy stitching!

I used to do cross country with no gridding - the mistakes were bountiful 🤣. Not sure what I'd do without my gridding now LOL (j/k there's some pieces I can't grid on because of color, but I definitely prefer the grids). A big reason I'm able to find where I need to go next so fast is I use other stitches as sort of anchor points and go by those instead of counting - which can be disastrous if there's a stitch in the wrong spot, so the speed sometimes has a hefty risk to it. I also make sure I don't pull my needle through on my fabric until I spot the next place I want to go, so I use it as a visual anchor as well. Good luck when you start a full coverage! They are my preferred projects by far! 💕

I absolutely love this! Perfect to watch for my early morning. I was definitely saying u put the stitch in the wrong spot lol my roommate had no idea what i was talking about so i had to show it to him 😂 i personally like the music and u talking. Im stitching right along with u. This pattern is so cool tho. I may just have to start it because id love a dragon on my wall 🖤🖤 love all ur videos. Cant wait till the next one

I enjoyed this video very much! It went by fast to me because I was stitching right along with you. I stitch in 10 x 10 boxes and I’m scared to death to leave them as I make mistakes within the box. I’m starting to be careful too I make my last stitch in the box a full cross so I don’t get lines, but if I do, I do. I have only I Crossstitch in since 2017 and notice I’m starting to get a little bit more experienced and a little bit more faster. I like talking, quietness, and music! 😂 I can’t make up my mind as I am stitching , I think they’re all nice!

Haha, I understand about leaving those blocks! I don't like traveling more than 10 or sp spaces away from any last stitch cause I make mistakes so easily, but compensating for then when they happen is part of the process for me at this point 😂. Glad you enjoyed the video! 💕

Thank you for showing this technique. It was easy to understand compared to others I've watched. So again thank you for I'm about to staet my first haed and two golden kites. Wish I had known this technique before my first full coverage of just 22,200 bcz the confetti nearly drove me insane. ❤😂

Yeah, it's hard to find music that everyone will like. It was a PITA to get it sorted anyway, so probably won't be adding music very often 😂

I prefer the stitch with me’s with no music and lots of talking! It makes me feel like I’m sitting and stitching and catching up with a friend.

I don't know if it would solve your issue with short or unused floss threads but I punch a small hole on one side of my floss drops and store my short pieces or extra loose threads there. I use them first if they are long enough. Enjoyed your video!

Hi Gwen! Thank you so much for your suggestion! I do have oddball ends threaded on the Floss drops already. I think it's just my brain being a bit ocd and wanting everything to be all one length and loop on each card 🙃. I do admit I really like pulling from one set of floss, though! No more trying to figure out how much off of one seeing I need for each project! Thank you so much for hanging out and watching my awkward stitch with me! 🤣💕

Hi Stephanie! Sorry it took me so long to answer 🙈. I use a screen recorder and transfer that video onto my phone where I edit and splice the two videos together. It sounds a lot harder than it was to actually do lol

I like stitch-with-me videos with talking, but no music. At times, it’s just too much stimulus which can cause some anxiety…not the thing I want from watching floss tube. I agree with those that say it’s nice to have talking because it’s like having a chat with a friend.

Thank you for your feedback about too much noise - I hadnt though of that 😬! I'm going to have to put out an apb for conversation starters so I don't feel such a compulsion to fill the empty space with other sound when I go quiet lol. 💕
