I used to watch this show on Black and white TV in New York in 1964 when I was a really little kid. Been a Gerry Anderson fan since BIRTH. We share the same last name (no relation).

Ever since Stingray first appeared on tv ( October 1964 ) I have been a fan. It is one of the most amazing craft I have ever seen. There havedavid. numerous plastic kits and diecast models made but never an Rc model. A couple of modellers have made sailing examples of the craft. But it amazes me the none of the big manufactures ever made a kit commercially available. I believe that it could have been one of the most popular kits ever sold ....if one had been available. There are very few modellers of all ages who are not drawn to stop and look at when is seen on display. Your model is amazing the best sailing model I have seen. Is it still sailing ? I would be interested to hear.... thanks

that is one of the coolest C crafts I have ever seen reminds me of been a kid, well done i fly heli and I know what it must have taken to build it

i had the windup model toy when i was a kid it was epic it fired torpeado's ejected the crew and was actually a submarine (went under water and never rusted)

Nice - where can I get one? Does it leak, as Stingray always did? Phones always used to get into a lather about going too deep, but Troy would always calm him down and get them out of it. Also Stingray looked quite a lot like a Ford Anglia, both inside and out, although Stingray had more room in it.

not nessesary. You dont need a cooler first of all and also with a brushless, almost no heat and very efficient. Besides, water is a very good cooler
