The purpose of me requesting they react to songs like these is just to expose them to music they may or may not have heard before, to expand their horizons and to sate my curiosity over whether they will like them or not. As such I don't really care about likes/dislikes on these video postings or even the popularity of my channel or theirs for that matter.
Also nothing is monetized on my channel so I make no money from posting them, they do these for me and I just post them here in case other people are curious what they think of these songs too after they send me them and I have watched them myself. What makes Sting such a pioneer is his ability to fuse music from different cultures and popularise them to a listening audience who wouldn’t otherwise have been aware of music outside of a given genre

Faudel in the past was very good, i mean listen to the 1, 2, 3 soleils, he is better than cheb Khaled and Rachid Taha, and i mean in terms of vocal abilities, plus the music were very harmonic and fantastic in that concert

I absolutely agree! It reminds me of my childhood too! I had to wait several WEEKS till my grandpa was lucky enough to record it from the radio on a cassette tape!!! 😁😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 Btw I've noticed black people's reactions to songs like this are much better than the typical white western people, I guess western culture is so invaded with mainstream pop music they don't really appreciate Arab/Hindi or other exotic music and instruments! Just my thoughts...

Cheb Mami is indeed an Algerian singer who is singing in Arabic on this track, but it's obviously very well inter- meshed with Sting's singing. I love the Nevada desert just as the sun is starting to set, and Sting is being driven into Las Vegas in a very nice Jaguar S-Type.
Dudes! Sting has been around a lot longer than David Anders or Neil Patrick Harris! Give the man his props! He's music royalty. Recently he's sang with Shaggy. You should give it a listen.
