Wow! Well, I play and in addition to what you said I'll simply say that PQ is the most interesting, fair, non biased community contributor in this game. He contributed positively to the community long before Wargaming "blessed him". Me and many other learned a lot from him. If you want someone with an interesting opinion, PQ is your man.

Careful what you wish for. WG's monkey paw might put just one single high island in their spawns for carriers to hide behind and call it a day. Some maps already had these carrier islands for a long time now.

@@Halbostfriese That's only when they're bow in, that's why the best way to start a battle as a carrier I found was to reverse at the beginning of a game, don't wanna get detected by a Patrie or Satsuma.

"The tier 10 sniping meta that we see these days" -- said by everyone since 2016 I realize it is more snipey now because power creep makes ships more deadly (overmatch, more cv's, high dpm HE spam, whatever); therefore, pushing in is more dangerous. I'm just pointing out that people have always said that. In the early days, people sniped because 20km shima torps. Now people snipe because of different reasons.

I picked up the yamagiri as my first super ship and I love it! Two types of torps and burst fire and 5.6 detect just an all round great dd

Probably time for a tier list because I'm almost certain there are similar "this is the best ship" videos for Patrie and Hannover. Appreciate the vids, so please don't take this negatively.

I opened a random Potato Quality video at a random time and the first thing he says is: "These maps are great... for T8 ranges." This is so incredibly spot on that I actually can't believe it.

I enjoyed the whole IJN line. Sats is a natural extension of that line, but I have to say that Patrie got the shaft in not even getting the same accuracy as Repub.

Man you need to try the twilight battle game mode. Play the NC and it has a special consumable to drastically increase your accuracy. Like landing 9 shells on the same pixel.

yeah, instant devstrike button. Sad thing it says like "20% accuracy buff" when it is clearly like 200% accuracy buff :D Same with the opposite on other ships

5:00 if you're taking a blind shot, I think it's best to remove priority target (it was on the BB) to lessen the aimbot confusion.

Does locking the wrong target affect the lock-on dispersion? I thought it was a flat boost to dispersion.

I've stayed away from the superships, but after a deeply frustrating game in which a Midway bounced every salvo from my Yamato I might give them a go.

Buddy you know if we all did this with satuma wargaming is just going to swing a godly nerf hammer on the ship or remove it from game because it's easier then adding islands or new maps.

What is superior in the long range super heavy BB role Satsuma or Vermont?

Buff is was the shot fired accurately. You can miss by 3 km he could die 1 second after you hit fire doesn't effect it the buff. It's based on the aim at the time of firing would the shells have hit if he didn't hit the brakes and do a hard turn. If yes then it counts.

What is that new super ship that fires its guns like a DD. I am pretty sure i saw it on either Jingles or Mountainbatton this morning.

I have a doubt I have been playing here and there for several years meaning not consistent but. I buy ships only with xp. I think it might take my entire lifetime to see all tire ten battleships. Any idea how to explains my garage with different nation high tier battleship. I have only explored germany . Now I am in tire VII battleship (gneisenau). I also need to know you stick with certain captains because you spend lot of time on with them so they have max credits or you switch. How do we redistribute the credits of captains I know spending money is an option but is there any other way. Like concentrating on something that i am missing which can help me traverse the tech tree faster ? Just wondering Any I enjoy your videos and the knowledge you share about this game. Hello, seeking help here. I play World of Warships on Computer. There is a mechanism of Satsuma where player can see from up above in spotter view and see enemy location. What button to press to activate spotter view? Please help me know this

Yes! I hardly ever play CVs but the Eagle is awesome and the Satsuma is basically a Yammy on roids. Love both of these ships.

what mods do you use?

If there is more CV sniping, WG will not make new maps. Rather, they will buff CVs - I can imagine them removing citadels or introducing a mechanic similar to DDs (where BBs cannot get full pen damage). New maps would be so much appreciated though. Recently, I have heard more complaints in-game about the maps rather than the usual CV or submarine focus.

That's why I think that WG should provide the development tools for mapmaking to the community (since it is clear that they are not particularly interested in focusing on new maps) which would allow for map variety and rotation (a la Starcraft) thereby forcing the evolution of the meta.

Yuro's "Weaboo Fantasy" sequel vid shows how good the Satsuma is with da powa of MEMES AND ANIME

I prefer the 12 guns of Patrie, + its maneuvrability. Armor is equally bad, 32 mm for Patrie but with spaced armor and turtleback. Satsuma has no armor on the sides, so she is playable as a slow moving island. Still I like both :)

yes, it is more useful in most situations, except when facing HE spamming cruisers, and someone who can overmatch you (the same satsuma can easily take 40k or more per salvo for that) it is more flexible, but it holds less, the satsuma can at least hold HE and block/bounce shots (especially at distance), basically, it is good for attacking, but very bad for tanking.

Superships, hybrids and subs are what the games doesn't need. It will be fun when the next CW Season starts with superships, subs and cv's. For me it feels boring sitting at spawn and sniping without take any risks in ship like this but everbody having different kinds of fun and that's okay. With the new concepts and descissions like the Battle-Pass, submarines and the decline of the serious playerbase i have to thinking about finishing this this game.

DD main, so I got the super shima...and yes, its 100% pure evil!😱

Just got it. 200k in first battle within10 min because enemy team died really quick but damnn. Actually hitting things again is very fun

the best sigma: Stalingrad 2.65

The IJN BB line was my first reset, and the 2nd time around from Amagi on up I really enjoyed them. And when I got Yamato I immediately put the unique upgrade on her, and she's awesome. How does she compare to Satsuma? Do you really need the EXTRA overmatch? The 35% extra dispersion is great of course.

Why Satsuna is so much stronger than Yamato? For me, the answer is ap damage per hit, and of course the 35% extra dispersion skill.

Regrinded them recently aswell. Overall the most solid BB line imo. Kongo is one of the best silver T5 BBs. Fuso is a god at T6, good armor and lots of guns. Nagato can be a let down cause its so goddamn squishy. Id call her the black sheep, but one of the better black sheeps cause her guns are great. Amagi is a banger, still holds my T8 dmg record. Buffed Izumo is a revelation to someone who suffered through the old version back then like me, but the guns can let you down more often. And then the Yamato... Immune to powercreep and slaps the living sh*t out of everyone, love her! For every beginner its my nobrainer recommendation as the first BB line.

Id grab a Satsuma, but I don't want to retrain Yamamoto for it, I wish Superships didn't require a dedicated commander.

Superships would be so much better without the the alternate firing modes for example patrie

I have been thinking about something else. It would be nice whit a slight nerf of Cruser gun ranges. There is CC.s that can trade in range whit bbs. This makes it very hard to do bb stuff and you cant realy help to push whit a team since you will get farmed. Dont forget you already have DD.s, subs and CV.s that target you.

I have not enjoyed Satsuma of late. The accuracy is quite good, though RNG can still troll you. My beef is the reload is a little long (IMO) for only 8 rifles and the glacial turret traverse is painful. Sharing Yamato's weak cheeks hurts too. Each to their own though.

I hated the yamato when I got it. Than got satsuma. And o my god. love it. I'm not a good wows player. But having gotten to 130k avg dmg with 70 matches i think it's a good ship. Got the Patrie, and it's more Mehhh.

Grinded all the way to the satsuma just to lose 300k per match.

The problem with hannover its that it almost never get to that sweet 12km range while still in fighting shape, and guns are horrible, i think that if they had made a supership based on the schlieffen it would be amazing.

This is so different to the games I have, my games in this everyone yells if you stay at long range, move in closer, picked off so easily, team tends to hang back, no support, very frustrating ship to play, superships, super WG scam, cettainly no magic high damage numbers like the vids tell you.

I'm absolutely not found of the Satsuma. It's sloppy, reloading takes very long. Though the special effect is not too hard to get, on long range, ships have more than enough time to evade salvos, and you only have one enhanced shot, so it's often wasted. Even during fairly good matches, the whole handling was not much fun for me

Supershits are super bad for game balance and future, but hey... what can we do

I dont have any super ships, to much of a credit dump as I'm not a player that earns creds like water 8( in any case, if WG steps in it will be to nerf Satsuma or give Carriers a special perk to protect them against such salvo's at range... much like they have auto dmg con, FTR and attack-subs.

Conde is far more busted then satsuma, so i think people who play cruisers should for sure go for that one instead first. but yah, satsuma is pretty great.

The current meta is a snoozefest and nothing exemplifies it more than this ship.

Yep, in randoms I pretty much only play Halland for decent AA and effective long range torps. I love people playing sniping Satsumas…..

I got satsuma, it has the most accurate guns. but i barely played it, cause most of the opposite team kite away as soon as they see me on the same flank with them, i suggest Dalarna 👍

5 superships every game gets boring, and i am sure you had fun but everyone else don't, losing 3/4 of my hp in my yamma from 25km away on the nose from a satsuma is boring as fuck.

Honestly before sniping at 26km I'd rather play something else tbh. There's nothing more boring than that in ships imo.

Trying to get better maps but you might end up getting satsuma nerfed

the last time people started targeting cvs with yamma platoons they got banned for unsportsman like conduct .....not really a good idea to recommend it to people .....we ge will just ban them again

We went sniping CV in a div with 2 Musashis and a Shok. For four straight games the enemy CV was an Idominable with the hugely armoured deck. All we got were bounces.

maybe you were saved by the bounces tbh i have no idea i just remember back in the day streamers started doing it then people followed suit and shortly after i kept hearing story's of guys getting banned for "unsportsman like conduct" not sure how many people actually got banned but i do remember it being a thing just didn't want to see guys copy this and get the wege boot because they aren't a cc might not happen at all but id rather not see poor guys n galls loose a 7yrold account because they tried to be smart in a thinking action game remember your not allowed to think XD

Wargaming will change the Meta when the new Russian BB comes out to enable it to be the best ship in the game... because, as we all know - Russian ships MUST be the best in the game. lol

Bro Satsuma is really bad ship everyone attacking or hiding from satsuma and i cant farm damage, i have 160k damage per game with patrie but with satsuma i have 100k damage per game and my musashi 123k per game

There is no point in playing Patrie. It's mediocre same with Hanover. Satsuma out classes both of them and for that matter so does Bourgogne. Bourgogne vs Hanover or Patrie one on one I'll win that 19 out of 20 games.

i hate this ship. My satsuma always miss the enemy ships.
