I got mine before you guys started carrying them and it's been fantastic. Out of an entire 2 gallon batch you usually get around 3/4ths of a gallon at 40% ABV after dillution if using turbo yeast and your wash is at a 20% ABV or higher. I usually throw out the first 1 US Fluid Ounce (30 ML's) and collect 1 US quart at 32 Fluid Ounces (946 ML's) which is usually at 110 proof or higher and I disgard the rest. After that, I use a zero water filter pitcher to filter my spirit after dillution. After it's been filtered, it still retains the alcohol but it's extremely smooth and easy to drink.

There's rust inside the tubes and at the edges of the nozzle. How do you remove it?

you could do a citric acid run... or maybe use a flexible bore snake that you would use for a .22 rifle.
What is different with this one? our water distiller looks exactly like this one. ours says H20 labs but, they are identical.

literally nothing. and depending on the model of "water distiller" you have you may have more granular controls with temperature. The Still Spirits Air Still has a single on/off button. My Vevor, that I only paid $90 for on amazon has the ability to adjust the temperature so dialing in the runs is a bit easier than just "let er rip" mode.

I found the water ones run a bigger element, and the condenser may not keep up. I use a fan speed controller on the element and plug the top directly into the mains. I like the fast warm up speed and reduce the power to the element when first drips start.
Is it possible to go blind?
