but i still think that it is kinda shitty of companies to make official ships if one of the person is already in a relationship; because 1. The couple gets hella hate by the shippers if they get caught 2. It could be sooo traumatizing for the girlfriend/boyfriend to constantly see their partner being shipped by other person and not only that, even the company puts the ship in a place where they might have to act all lovey dovey in interviews and everything 3. Those ships are always potrayed as if the actors actually love each other by the company which gives false hopes to fans In my opinion, it is better for companies to label them as duos instead of ships; but i do get it that it is way to earn money and inc. engagement; i cannot expect the industry to be morally correct in first place

@@katzura_3507 yes that is true but what I also mind is when the bl actors announce that they have a girlfriend they get hate or people start unfollowing on social media them just like bright when he announced that he had a girlfriend, people started to hate him, I think those toxic fans don't realize that not all bl actors are gay.

As a fan of some BL couples, the characters kept in the stories, I support the actors themselve, as a pair or as a single. An actor is straight or gay or bi, does not matter, even he is gay, it doesn't mean he should date his work partner to fulfill others wish. It is lucky that they kept a good relationship with the working partner already. It is normal that they are close to other person even close to other person in the same industry than the working partner.

As fans we love them for their acting/singing or whatever. We have the added advantage of shipping them with a partner or getting fan-service beyond that of a series or video etc . What we do NOT get or own is the right to criticize their life choices their partners their friends or what they choose to do in their own time. We must bear the responsibility of healthy relationships with those we admire and love even. We must also have respect and boundaries. Why if I were just strolling down the road minding my business eating my embarrassingly messy lunch and a stranger just jumped in front me screaming I'm your fan. Man I'd be calling the police. How could we even think of doing that to another person, one who we claim to love, ship and or follow etc. 😮 Being a fan is awesome being loved by that idol/actor/ singer is awesome but we all go home at the end of the day and deal with our issues in private. Famous people are no different. They're all also human. Much love to fellow fans. I love shipping my faves and even my delulu thoughts but fantasy is fantasy and real is real and respect is everything. ❤ Happy fan-ing everyone ❤

just one word - Boundaries

I kinda hope we get more who are open about their relationships in the future. I think it would be wise, if they can't stop the fan-service culture, then get them to be more open about the actual relationships they have. The problem is that is permeates a lot of asian fan culture in general. Like, was it one of the Black Pink Girls who received a massive backlash recently when it turned out she was dating someone? Either way it is like the fanbase somehow owns them (the long and the short of that has to do with free marketing done by fanbases and for some reason the exchange is that they are basically dedicating themselves as people to their fanbases). I don't think it is entirely the same in the BL industry but it certainly has the same vibe. Meanwhile I feel like more openness about who they are in fact dating or even about their sexualities might help in terms of backlash. I still feel like the best solution would just be to avoid fan-service all together (though I would be sad about it as I do love fan-service, but a lot of people cant handle it) but if that is not possible, then I can only see openness and transparency as the next best thing - and by that I mean it should come before they actually start dating anyone. This is mostly based on the fact that the times when people have accepted significant others most have been either with people who are not in active ships, like Neo and AJ, or in the case of Inn Sarin for example, it was "discovered" so early in the GreatInn ship that people fully accepted it.

As much as I love seeing all my BL pairings together in drama and event, that is reel .. They have real life out there. As long as they are happy, let them be with whom they like and choose .. Support them for their work .. respect the actors/actresses boundaries 💜💚❤

What funny is that, they saw happening in one fandom but same fan still claim their other ships are real, then it happens in their other fandom, again they join a new fandom and continue their delusional.Once a Bright Win fan was saying even if Bright have a gf at least her other ship GemFourth are really boyfriends, and i said they never said that , we should not confirm it until actors say so.She said i need a doctor help if i cant see they are real boyfriends .I replied wait for a five years just like u are crying for Bright, you might really need therapy when Gem or Fourth have a gf.

There was behind the scene footage him tease kissing Misha Collins on lips , Jared slapping his bestie Jensen Ackle ( actor from The Boys) on butt. They called each other brothers n best friends. They all were friends since early 20s to 40s now. They were straight. Robert Pattinson( straight)kissed his male bestie Tyler in a award ceremony on mouth while his girlfriend was also on stage. Actors are ....acting! imagine that! Let them live peacefully.

There was a time I put most of the blame on delusional fans for not respecting boundaries, but some blame also has to be on the actors and their management for trying to maintain the illusion of these ships. I love that more and more actors are putting the brakes on the shippers both at live events and on social media. Gemini and his twin, Phuwin could teach a master’s class on being respectful but also help fans understand reality and boundaries.

It's a job, nothing more. There are plenty of great gay actors who play straight roles as well. We should enjoy bl for what it is, a sweet fantasy.

Maybe if the companies didn't insist on artists hiding their relationships, and pushing the skinship/offscreen couple aspect, the fans wouldn't be so delulu and toxic. Every fan should know that 95% (at least) of BL roles are played by 100% straight actors, thanks to the stupid rule set and widely followed by directors back in the day - no gays need apply. As long as our guys get to continue playing BL roles, (unlike Toey and his controlling gf), if they want to, frankly, who cares? It's their private life, and who are we to tell anyone else who they can and can't date or marry? How would you like the world how to conduct your private life? There are a couple of dozen male BL and female actors who belong to the LGBTQ community, but as for couples, I know of only two onscreen/offscreen couples that are 100% confirmed - PorscheArm who have been married for 10 years, and BothNewyear who have been together for about 7 or 8 years, and who just got engaged. Other that that, I know of no one else - having Zee and Yoon 'confess' to reporters, is not 100% confirmation. Unless both 'partners' make an official announcement and it's worldwide news, it means nothing. I don't think you can blame fans for the downturn in Bright's career... I've only ever seen him play one role well, and it was a horror role, and as for his musical ability... Yeah, well...

BL stars are just acting... They build good chemistry so that for the next project they can perform very well. And most BL actors are straight guys... They are just doing their job as an artist..the majority of them want to date women... The problem is the fans that are expecting the couple they followed will be the end as lovers. Like Newwie he already said that his dream is to have a business and get married when he reaches the early 40's. To have a daughter.. so that means his planning for a future family. I think the same as other BL artists too..

I get not wanting to be super open, you don't want to drag the person you are dating into all of this. That can make building a relationship hard. I do think the agencies (GMMTV for example) need to normalize and support the actors being very firm and clear with fans, that when they act bat shit crazy it is gross, makes it hard for people to want to work, and that fans need to not support others acting this way. I think every time there is an issue of say a GF gets discovered, no apology. Only clear statements that fans are expected to behave.

We get only some leaked information from the random people who caught them in the airport or other places . Just because they don’t post anything about themselves doesn’t mean they are not seeing each other. I think their relationship is more casual, not like when he was seriously dating Kukkit (the doctor). I think New said he doesn’t want to get married until he is 40. I think it was the reason why he broke up with Kukkit. She was shopping the wedding dresses and he didn’t want to commit. This Toon actress is probably more like a friend with benefits rather than a a serious girlfriend.
