Your builds are great, I use them all the time. I am pretty new and pretty casual so obviously the end game gear and stuff goes right over my head, but I use your skill rotations to learn how to play these classes. I like your guides because even if you're new and not doing end game content, you can still learn about the class and what abilities to shoot for and morph. I'll come back to the end game stuff later, but for now I am taking what I need and learning as I go. Thanks for making these videos!

Great stuff, Lucky. A veteran dungeon mate recommended you to all of us when we were struggling with DPS. I feel like I've been on the right track with what abilities to use, but my rotation has been ... nonexistent. Lots of button mashing. Thanks for giving me clear direction on how to improve my play!

I'm band new to ESO and haven't played an MMO since WoW Lich King. I started out in Everquest Online Adventures...all I can say is MMOs have come a long way. I've been focused on Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls, Fallout and some other games. Your guide is very well done but you are correct...I'll need to absorb this in a few settings...I've already read the guide through. Thanks for your efforts, it's very helpful and appreciated. Subscribed to make sure I can absorb as much of your experience as possible.

Thanks for breaking down a game I have wanted to play for years and each time stopped because it felt like “too much” well 3 weeks in I have a 35 sorc and after watching this a lvl 6 DK! So here is my question playing on Xbox and other one bar what would you use for your 5 front slots and single ultimate. I have my theory what you might say based on watching this video but I would like to know and in what rotation. It’s just a more enjoyable play style for me single bar. This is by far my favorite class and build

Last patch I was able to get trifecta with your build. This patch I changed it up and ran with a charged vDSA 2 hand front bar, and BrP infused with flame and poison enchants on the backbar. I find my sustain is so good that I can get away with using molten whip as the single target spammable, or carve on waves, which can literally melt groups in 2-3 swings. Edit: I see the minotaur is glitching on PC too

My PVE Front bar is Flames of oblivion, carve, molten whip, ravenous claw, and noxious breath! I like alternating between carve and molten whips as spammables. You only have to hit carve once every 11 seconds to keep 3 stacks up which gives you time to spam with whip. Ive tested DPS on dummies and slotting whip which I can use for 100% of the fight has roughly the same results as when I slot executioner which can only be utilized for 35% of the fight so I dont even use an execute with molten whip since it crits 30k-48k fully buffed anyways. I really wanna try the vDSA 2hander. it dropped for me but gliched and i got kicked from the arena before i could loot it. I just got the Vateshran maul and ive been using that on my back bar with rally and thats been pretty fun. ideally I wouldnt be running 2h/2h forever though =P

@@spideysense1847 Since vDSA adds 1.5k to each target hit per target hit, with no limit on how much it can add, it is the single strongest thing you can do to a pack of enemies of 4 or more. The best example of this is when I play vVH, I grab all the colossus chained at the edge of the arena, bring them to the boss, cast blade cloak, build 3 stacks of fury, and then proceed to spam carve for 33k on every single target hit in the cone. Once only the boss is up I start using whip as my spammable that hits from 15-34k and treat carve as a 12 second dot.

Using this as a fresh 50 with pillars of nirn and rush of agony sets + bloodspawn mask and I am very happy. Only thing I'm a little short on health and magicka (17.9K and 13.9K) but I do still have a lot of abilities to unlock including undaunted passives. Solo it is a lot of fun, charge into some enemies, aoe pull them all to you, breath attack and spikes from armour and most if not all are dead.

Hey I'm new to the game so first let me thank you for your build! Anyway I got a few questions regarding the Stamina DK. I have also built "my own" Stamina DK, but I'm playing with a 2H-Sword on the first bar and sword and shield on the back bar. Also I am wearing heavy armor cause I wanted to create a "classic" nord warrior. Like in Skyrim, where I just put on heavy armor and a 2H and just fought my way through the whole game, slaying everything while being almost immortal. However, I haven't found a single ESO build that uses 2H and heavy armor for Stamina DK or 2H and sword and shield for Stamina DK. Why is that? I am doing something wrong?

What is the reason for not using the magicka upgrades for searing strike and fiery breath? Just thinking that once the timer is up on those abilities, your magicka will probably be recharged and you can use the extra stamina to spam Carve.

Nord also works great cuz of the extra Ult gain and Stamina :)

Hi! im completly new to the game, and id like to know how do i unlock... searing strike, for example, do i need to spend points in the previous skills? or have to wait till level 4? (it says unlocked at ardent flames lvl 4)

Should I be like the others and make the big attack moves pink color instead of red ? I notice a few people use pink instead of red. Mybie good because I use so much fire I could see it better ?

I think you should also mention other skills that are usefull for soloing just in case someone wants to do Solo normal/vet DLC dungeon like for example precognition for psijic which is usefull when u are crowdcontrolled but you are playing solo so there is no one else to interupt enemy ,reveling flare for 10% mitigation or dual wield set up blood craze and bloodthirst which are also good soloing options sometimes even they dont provide damage shield,dragonight ultimate ferocious leap that gives huge damage shield and so on.I know this is Mealestorm/Arena build which is more into dps but it would be nice to expand this build possibilites cuz some new players dont know about more defensive set ups :)

Thanks very much for all the info you share & for making quality content. Apologies if you've already addressed this, but I am curious about running Molten Weapons instead of Soul Trap. Does Soul Trap just do enough raw damage to be better than the Major Brut & Sorc buffs from Molten Weapons? To be honest, I'm a new player just looking for an excuse to take an ability I only have to refresh every 54 seconds instead of every 10 to help with the learning curve, lol.

molten will be great when you dont want to use essence of weapon power potions. when you're doing something difficult you will use those potions which already give you that buff, so molten weapons would be doing nothing for you when using that potion

@@LuckyGhost Ah, roger that! One other thing I was curious about is why Executioner only takes priority in the rotation at 30% and below instead of 50% and below, where it starts getting its bonus?

@@olongjohnson3118 it does UP TO 300 percent more. So basically the lower the health the more damage it does. It doesn't start outperforming other spammables until around 31 percent :)

Hey @Lucky Ghost, just a small question, I am wondering if it would not be better to switch the monster set helm to Magma Incarnate when wearing the ring of pale order? Because 1 item of Stormfist gives you 129 stam recovery, while 1 item of magma incarnate gives you both 129 stam recovery and 129 magicka recovery. Not a big difference cuz we do not need so much magicka recovery, but still I wanted to ask if it wouldn't theoretically be better?

Wouldn’t be super viable, you definitely could, but would be better served to use the bow or shield and sword on the back bar instead because it’s a stamina character. The magDK would work very well with a destruction staff on one of the bars though!

I know this is a solo build, but how does it go in parses? Is it able to hit 75k+? I have a secondary char DK and didnt want to overcommit to it, and I found this build the most balanced between full parse and solo.

what would be a good replacement for consuming trap. would molten armaments be good?

Is it worth it for me to attempt getting the bow at a lower lvl or should i wait till 50 and above? I'm not sure at what lvl i can get some of these equipment

What is the add on that shows the timer so I don't recast venomous too quickly? I went through your most recent add on guide but couldn't pinpoint which one it was. Question is can it solo the northern murkmire world boss, walks like thunder?

For groups, would you say it is better to use your "Noxious Knight" build over this one (Venom Carver)? What is the difference between the skill selection?

yeah generally you can use both builds, depending which content you're doing as they are very similar. The group build will drop nearly all self preservation and go full glass cannon, which is what you should do in trials, but in dungeons and solo the carver will often times outperform the trial build because it doesnt need a good, optimized group

Put one skill in each tree. Even if you don't use the skill so you can level you 3 skill lines for the dk. Then add weapon skills. Mix armor types. Basically level everything so you can switch up the role of you want later.

I really love the stamdk. What I love even more is playing with One Hand and Shield. Too bad you can't use the Shield as a weapon. Even with the bash upgrade, it's STILL NOT VIABLE for a dps build that'll burn through trials. ///sigh

What skill line has the ultimate Standard of Might? It says online it’s the Ardent Flame skill line but the ultimate on there is Dragonknight Standard. Does it morph into Standard of Might or something? I didn’t think ultimates morphed into anything.

How do you have 28k hp with no hp food or attribute points into hp?

What do you think about the prevalence of Ring of the Pale Order on solo builds? It seems to be the defacto, auto include in any non-group environment. IYO, is it too strong for what it does? Or does the fact that it can only really be used outside group content mean ZOS should see no reason to care about its wide usage.

yeah unless they give more classes a form of "life leach" or "passive healing" like sorc has, ring closes the disparity for solo content. before the ring everyone would just run sorc through vma cus it was far easier. now you can take any class. :D

On some classes, you don't need it. But it's still great on builds with weak self healing (most stamina builds)

Tested on pts while solo the sustain is worse,damage still great. switched tzogvin to VO and the sustain is much better

This...is gonna take some practice. And lots of skill points. And the right armor. I have all of the skills except the Fighter's Guild ultimate, but I'm really close to leveling the Fighter's Guild up to 10, so I should be able to grab it soon. But I still need a *LOT* of passives unlocked, and I have NONE of the armor pieces I need! Guess I've got some work to do!
