Loved the sax player's wedgie seat.😂And he really crushed it.🤣
This is how I like T/S no mikes just pure music & verse.
Is this how Tuba Skinny holds auditions, show up and see if you can do it? Takes some courage to play with these guys. Wonderful
The World is visiting and viewing this fine band. We don’t like the covid police or fun police. Music is family!
Thank you James for making it possible for me to enjoy the greatest jazz band around. And many thanks to TS for continuing to make great music. God bless you all!
How could ya not like that.

I think it’s wonderful how the sap ramp sax player was welcomed into the group.
Tuba Skinny Tieneeee Qué Continuar!!!!!!!!!7
Gotta admit, this is pretty enjoyable music, so much so that I finally bought a couple albums. Drove into town with them playing on the car radio...hard to drive with that toe tapping music! Thanks, Tubby Skinny!
my heart is happy every time i hear Tuba Skinny. Pure joy coming out the 2nd best city in the world..😎
A great song played as well as always. I much like the addition of the sax player. He fits.
Love it to death! Wake up, Nawlinz ~ Tuba Skinny is the best ambassador this city has ever known! 🎼🎹🎺🎷🎸🪕🎤🎼
Best foot stomping band in the world! You bring happiness to the soul. Thanks to all the great musicians.
Thank you James, all the way from Mumbai, India . I have been following TUBA SKINNY for some time now. I miss their female singer.
Fantastic! What a joy TS is! Thanks for the video.
You guys Rock your what Great jazz is about . Keep up the great Music and Videos .👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Warms my heart.....been awhile since I had my Tuba Skinny fix....the soprano sax player looked like the road cone stool wasn't the most comfortable 3 legged stool around...get that guitarist a vocal mike!
What a joyful sound. Love Tuba Skinny
Really great sound! And the cone chair was some drama.
Gotta get my hit of Tuba Skinny
That clarinet though!
Magnificent interpretation of this band always with those sounds of the 20-30s full of magic joy and desire to dance, continues to record and upload greetings from Palmira Valle del Cauca, Colombia
Ready set, "James Sterling" always on the Job . Great tune capture !
You are the best in the West!
Sempre um som agradável aos ouvidos esse tirado por essa banda querida chamada TUBA SKINNY.
The city needs to paint a jazz line on the road. Gold color with bars and notes. Everybody jams behind the jazz line.

@@JiveDadson as has been noted, there's probably a political reason behind this. The mayor has to know full well that the public don't like what he's doing.

Super music!!!
I love to watch this band interact with one another
Many thanks as ever, James. I wonder how many 12-bar tunes they have in their repertoire. About 40, I guess. They play this one in E flat, which seems to be a key Greg is very comfortable with. For example, within a few days recently, they twice played the 12-bar 'You Gotta Give Me Some' - in E flat in New Orleans with Greg singing and then in Switzerland but this time in B flat with Erika providing the vocal.
Brian didn't look very comfortable sitting on that traffic cone. It didn't affect his playing, I'm pleased to say.
Thank you James for another busking video. The sound is brilliant in my opinion. I am very impressed because it is a busking performance with all street noise. The soprano sax player did a great job too. Craig invited him playing with the band. I like the situation when guests come to the band playing with them. I remember me the trombone player at the Starlight Lounge in 2020. I mean the Savoy Blues video you have filmed there. Best wishes and Happy Easter. Dave

Sounds the same chord sequence as “It’s tight like that “ song, but here “I’m travellin home” and the guest welcomed with no jealous fuss as happens with unfriendly bands !

It's a Mississippi Sheiks tune with the melody of Papa Charlie Jackson's "Shake That Thing." (I wonder if a lawsuit was involved at the time.) Great, strong lead horn by Shaye, solid, authentic pocket by the rhythm section, nice solos with Craig hittin' the blue notes and concluding with that smokin' run through the registers. I'd like to hear the sax guy on alto, Craig too doubling on it too. He was quite good on it on some earlier TS vids.
James, as always great. My only regret is that I could not go to Switzerland even though it is less than 1000 kilometers. And there was such an opportunity...eh, life🙄
Pretty good hay!
Mamma don't allow no traffic cone sax players 'round here
Love it god bless
Aplausos 👏👏👏 y muchas gracias !!
👍👍
Where does the cone go at 1:25????
I started cringing when the cone disapeared into oblivion. I don't think this band knows how naturally funny they can be. Greatest musicians in the world and so non chalant. Shaye is precious, the rapture may be happening and she just continues to play as the Hurricanes, Tornados, Earthquakes, Frogs, Boils, Blood in the miissiissiipii, Locusts, etc. are happening all around her, She is the greatest, I love this group.
Where is Erika?
Still the @#$%& cars are allowed. Will that get fixed? I emailed the mayor, but no response.

A meaningful response-as opposed to an automatic reply-would indicate that the mayor gives a damn you think. Unless you're a major "campaign contributor" what you think is meaningless. That goes for you, me, and 99+% of everybody.

For me, Dixieland is the only kind of music where a clarinet sounds good. Maybe in classical music but they are often lost in all the other goings on. I know some people are going to talk about big band and Bennie Goodman and I shan't criticize you if you like it but, again I say for me, it just sounds dorky.
