I never understood type beats because an artist doesn't only sing or rap over a certain style of beat and they all usually have musical variety and it depends on what they are feeling. So yeah it never really made sense anyway, but it's about the tag I guess. Not so much the type.

I'm not sure what is being searched for specifically, but yeah that's why I said it's about the tag instead of the type because keywords will increase your chances of coming up on the search results and in related videos. What I mean is someone could name a beat many different "types"and it would still work whichever they choose to go with because artists are versatile and so are the instrumentals.
