Thank you
I guess we both lucked out this week . Great looking saw cool flower .
The speed control makes this a must have. I have a msa 120 and my biggest complaint is the lack of speed control. Msa saws are great addition but I will always love my gas saws. Something about the noise the smell. Damn I love chainsaw carving. Thanks for the video Jordy.
I'll be heading over to the stihl dealer tomorrow, thank you jordy an thank-you stihl.
Stihl makes great products but I have a few Dewalt batteries so I went with a Dewalt cordless chainsaw. It works great but before I got I researched it and it has an oil leak problem. I had to tear down and fix multiple oil leaks on a brand new saw before filling it with oil. But my Dewalt saw doesn't leak oil. That Stihl saw you have looks pretty slick with some nice extras.
Cool flower nice saw
You are a lucky man jordy what a great gift glad you like it and that person that gifted it what a cool thing to do for you what a good person and that carving makes you smile cheers mate
🖤🖤🖤 Your such a great spirit Mr ? what an amzing thing to gift to our bro Jordy ♥ love it & love this Tribe 🤟
That’s so awesome Jordy! Great review! I want one! I need one! I have to have one! My birthday is right around the corner? Which means absolutely nothing! 😂
Thank you Jordy I've got the 140c.I wished it had speed control. But here you go the new msa70c. I'll have to save my penny's!! Thanks for the video!
I bought a Stihl MSA 160 Electric last summer. I believe the speed control is going to be a good selling point for the MSA 70. Great review.

I have the msa 160 also. I love that saw. It's been one of my best investments for carving. I recently got the 12" dime tip, which makes it even better.
Thanks Jordy!!! I’m definitely going to look into that saw!!
Great review Jordy. Good that the carving is going in the trail and will honour the giver. You give so much it's good to see karma brings something back to you. Love the carving, you and the whole carving fusion family.
I have been looking at a battery saw now I’ll wait to look at this one thanks
Wow that was an awesome gift. I think it's worth saving up for. I kinda like the idea of throttle control. Be safe and well my friend.
Great info Jordy. This video convinced me to order the new MSA 70C as well as the 8 " carving bar. And you are definitely a pro carver and someone I enjoy watching and learning from. Carve deep my friend. Cheers from Whitby.

Jordy, you have fantastic friends . Amazing carving ❤
OK Jordy, you talked me into it.. going to see if can find one of these things , i like the Battery kind . i have gas saws but, going to give ´er a try ! Thanks, See Ya
Thanks Jordy I want one, with the same setup.. Great comparison
Great comparison Jordy, though I've just purchased the 140 and 8" bar with 43 gauge chain, the original 10" Stihl bar and chain is perfect for carving also, the tips still plunge and work perfectly. However, after switching batteries you may need to re sharpen the chain each time for better cuts, as you hadn't mentioned that part, they tend to dull easy enough regardless to the wood.
Thank you for your videos. I'm just starting out and my products have a lot of mistakes, but I really enjoy it and you are a great inspiration to me. I buy tools and equipment according to your recommendation. I'm going to the sawmill this afternoon. Thank you once again. Martin. Czech Republic

Great video! What a gift for shore! Have a fun week!
Man I’d love to have a good chainsaw to carve with, that ls the next step so I can do some bigger stuff
Very good overview of this Stihl chainsaw! Do you know of any one using the EGO brand electric chainsaws for carving and can you order special blades for the EGO? The reason I ask is I have several EGO tools around the house and like to work with the standard batteries / chargers instead of having multiple style batteries. Thanks again Jordy!

Hey Jordy, thereis another carver that claims because the battery saws have so much torque that they will actually cut through chaps. Great demo and carving.

Still on the hunt for a new msa 70. There's msa 60's on Amazon but no 70's.. Do ya know where a guy can get one yet? Also, where do you get the 8" dime tip bars/chains? As always, Thanks Jordy!

@@CarvingFusion Ok so I spoke with local dealer. He said he couldn't get the msa 70's or 60's. Guess they're on back order. Seems we can only order a 60 directly online from stihl though. Guy had no idea tried to sell me a 140 said they're exactly the same! I explained to him about the lack of speed control on the 140's.. Anyway so I might just order a 60 then.. Also, the Amazon 12" 1/4 pitch roller tip stihl bar part # 3005-008-34065 And recommend chain part # 3670-005-064 are those the correct still parts your talking about or? I only ask because theres no info on the site explaining what saws they fit. Very hard to get good info on these things. Thanks again for everything you're the best! Rob.

No just this 12" stihl carving bar 50 guage, it will work
I have a small plug in chainsaw that works good. I've looked at the battery life on cordless chainsaws and came away disappointed. Just a few minutes with heavy use. I use my plug in electric both for carving occasionally, but also for trimming around my property. I'd rather tow my generator around than hassle with constantly running and waiting to charge batteries. And Man, those batteries cost more than my chainsaw. For cutting bigger stuff, or working from my vehicle, give me my bigger Stihl farm boss gasser any day. 20 years old and starts on the first or second pull every time. My 2 cents anyway.

@@chris-lj9tr Well, maybe someday batteries might replace gasoline etc. But the technology is not there yet. Look at all the fires caused by electric bike battery charging. How about those car carrier ship fires caused by EVs. And the restrictions on batteries on air flights. The shipping insurance companies will not keep insuring EV and battery shipments ( ships and planes) which will put an end to international production until someone gets batteries right. Now lets talk about the mining of the heavy metals and hazardous materials used in these batteries. Folks want to ban coal and fossil fuels, but refuse to discuss the environmental and social impacts of mining battery materials. What about the health and safety of the people (especially children) in poorer countrieswho currently work in those operations at our pleasure? It is not all about CO2. I am 70. I doubt I will see the elimination of of fossil fuels in my lifetime. I certainly won't be driving an EV. And spending my limited funds on expensive batteries. I can buy a gallon of gas for $ 4.00 and it lasts for months in my saw. I can get in my car, drive 400 miles and not worryabout running out and fill it up and go again in 5 minutes. Give me a call when an EV can do that and maybe I will consider it. 😀

Approximately about 30 minutes total running power. With one battery to charge it will take an hour or so, you will need the spare. Great little saw though.
