i remember the feeling that came over me when i saw them perform this live. it was one of the best feelings especially when the whole crowd was singing the lyrics. would do anything to get that feeling back.

Having undertaken a Masters degree on the Neuroscience of drug addiction, this song has taken on a whole nother level of meaning for me. Learning that addictive drugs quite literally rewire your brain at a physical level so that you are trapped in a cycle of abuse that is so freaking hard to get out of, is so perfectly represented by the feeling of a vast emptiness lying ahead by these lyrics (especially "open up the ocean, jump on in"). Even having never suffered from addiction, this song still makes me cry thinking about how fucking shit addiction is for people

A rock Anthem , Sticky Fingers ain't just a one genre band , ... they have so many amazing songs that aren't reggae rhythm based and the ones that are ,are great .
