Good film. The transition from day to night was great. Also camera angles were very good. Ending was unexpected.

The night scene,that immense darkness around,that creepy feeling, the vibes..all in point...awesome

When she said "I bring all my boyfriends out here" should have been a major red flag and warning sign to this guy. I'd be like ya this is fucked I'm outta here and walked my ass out of the woods and went home. Why are people so stupid in horror movies?

What does he actually carry in the back pack? I would think, since he's going hiking, he would take least some equipment, like a flashlight, some matches, flares, first aid kit, water, granola bars, A1 sauce, lol, whatever. Jeez, ya can't trust anyone. 😦

This had an excellent creepy atmosphere, and that old caravan was perfect. I presume she took her boyfriends into the woods to - well, what exactly? This wasn’t made clear. Also, if he could walk that well (even run, after a fashion) then why did he stay behind in the forest? And, finally - why was it called Sticks?

Shot and written very well. The camera movement and audio layering was fantastic, I feel like the dialogue could be more clear or boosted though.

His influence shines through in so many scenes. If you're familiar enough with his work, you could probably go frame by frame and identify which compositions have his unmistakable style. He's certainly come quite a way since his days with the BHS:WW. Bravo, the both of you! Interesting! It needed more story to boost it. But I liked the twist. ***spoilers ahead for others*** The name Runa meaning 'secret lore' & 'moon' was telling. So was her taking his cell phone at the start...why would she do that other than to be sinister? She had her own phone The photo collection was so eerie.....a trophy collection of their victims! Eeeek! Is the sticker 'The Duch Hut'? an inside joke too? The DUTCH Hut is a famous restaurant & these ghouls/demons sure seem hungry. :)

I hike a few times a week and randomly tripped over crap like this guy did. I'm walking along and it's like someone shot my legs out from under me. 😂

Somebody told me that those poleroid cameras are making a comeback . Loved this film the acting was good both actors did a very good job plus i liked the location i like rhe woods myself its always good to do some exploring thanks to the cast and crew for putting this together

Runa why!!! Just why! Very good, liked how it wasn't too drawn out (held the tension well!), the actors did great. The contrast between day and night made me think of how beautiful and even comforting the forest can be... until the sun goes down. Then you start hearing all those sounds. Poor Mark.

Wish we'd gotten a better look at the creature and what Runa looked like after her transformation. Nevertheless, a great short!

Outstanding! I don't know why you don't have a ton more followers. I guess you're a hidden gem on YT. Loved the story, the visuals, sound effects, acting, etc. Incredible job! It took a while for me to pick up on the ending, but once I did, it was an "Ooooooh so THAT'S what happened" moment lol

​@TheCodacat Not even that, his tone is weak, too. And of course she is masculine. Movies today alway make the woman have a crappy attitude with all the logic and answers, and men are weak and stupid.

Not a good choice to have so many poorly lit night shots in the woods, they look awful, too blue and flat. These should always be kept to an absolute minimum during the writing process. The opening shots in full daylight show you're using a very good camera but those poorly lit night shots do you no favors. The male lead should've had a torch then at least he would've been well lit.

That had to be the dumist and cheap movie I have ever seen....I'm a movie critic and my give pay to review 😢
