Long wait for episode #9 is over. But of course the hosts have been busy working. RIP Betty Davis.
Yessssss!
Excellent, informative interview with my favorite Master Musician and Master Bass player Larry Graham
This video is right on time. I've had a Larry Graham Marathon today. Graham for 4 hours!
I saw "Gatemouth" Brown with Bonnie Raitt at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1977. He blew me away! And she did too
One of my very first influences on bass!!!🙏🏾🤘🏾🔥
I'm mainly a metal guitar guy but this show is simply the best. You can feel the love from these guys!
What a great show and great stories! Listening to you guys talk makes me long for the old days of “organic” music…..
What a great history of the Bay Area music scene back in the day. I want to teach a music history based on the Bay Area music scene. "Big" Sid Martinez, East Bay born!
Very nice interview with him, , I learned a lot from this, Larry Graham is a total legend, and he broke his experiences down, to a down to earth understanding... Enjoyed this, very much..
Excellent interview!
Superb stuff! Pity that Michael's question of Doug Rauch got lost and went unanswered. Maybe next time.
Wow Larry Graham-big hero and i don't even play bass! and the rest of you guys too. great interview!!!!
From his days with Sly and the Family Stone to Graham Central Station and his solo career, Larry Graham has always been the man and my musical idol. Now that is one hell of a music interview. All six musicians are true legends!

Great Interview ! Thanks
The Bay area scene had the biggest impact on today's music. They were so far ahead of their time.
the best.......
Thank you very much, you are all my teachers, I wanted to say music, then I realized that you not only taught me music. You taught how to think, how to act, how to be... and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! God bless you!!!

Thank you for this incredible series, this interview is PURE JOY. I am humbled to witness this conversation of incredible artists. Thank you for creating this series. This is music history, music anthropology and legacy work! - Brings tears to my eyes!
Mama said No Drums! What? I would have had to question Mama...there must be Drums!!!
THIS is golden. I love learning from my musical elders. Larry is a true brotha in more ways than 1. Basically U have mostly bay area monsters even though Larry from TX. Correct me on this.
So much interesting informations. Thank you. Is there any recording of Larry and his mum ?
Well fellas I have to say this one is so enjoyable to watch and I thank you all for showing me the way. Speaking of long relationships I am humbled and so proud to say my friendship with three of you exceeds (sit down) 150+ years and if I count when I met 5 of the 6 of you it's a whopping 250+ years. OMG!! Still kickin. Thank you again this brought me back. Love y'all
Whatever has to happen, please make it a reality….5 risers and a bass 🙌🏻
♥️Michael☆Shrieve♥️
Hair is one of favorite tracks GCS ever recorded.
Not sure when this was recorded but didn’t Betty Davis die Feb 2022?

Brotha Graham
Legends! Larry Graham is just an absolute force of nature whoever he plays with. David Garibaldi killer! But Mike Clark and Paul Jackson RIP are the funkiest rhythm section of all time in my opinion.. case and point 👉 kzread.info/dash/bejne/lGWNm9mYo6aehto.htmlsi=Jvgq9qPBaoVZsDrE
The FUNK,SLAP bass master!!!
Yeah, Larry is one of the most influential bassists in history!!! No one was doing what Larry was doing back then. Almost everyone is doing what he's doing now! He started a revolution on the electric bass! Larry and Greg were a force with a rock-solid pocket!!! A fantastic interview!
