Stickers vs Decals - What's the difference?
Vinyl Fire shows you the difference between stickers and decals. Stickers are all one solid print and can simply peel and stick. Decals have transfer tape over the design so that more complicated delicate designs can be peeled, applied and then have the transfer tape removed after installation. We also show you our printed and cut stickers.

The decals I knew were very thin delicate gel sheets stuck to paper and printed. You had to soak them in water, then carefully slide off the paper onto the surface. The clear base was nearly invisible after drying. These typically came with plastic model kits.
I am so glad you pointed out the difference between stickers and decals. I wished you would have took it a step further and Sean which ones are removable, easily

Thank you sir 🤝
At last..I know the difference, thanks.
So finally somebody explains it: a decal is just many stickers on one transfer layer, but above all it is just a very annoying unnecessary BS word. What is wrong with the words sticker and transfer?
the presentation would’ve been even more effective if you actually applied the decals and stickers
As someone that has been professionally printing decals for years, it drives me bat shit when people mispronounce it. The word is pronounced Dek-els. Not Dee-Kals.
