  • @Phobos2864
    @Phobos2864 Жыл бұрын

    The best start to becoming a good animator is a walking animation. This is a written tutorial, so pay attention! 1. You'd want to have a stick figure that has a lot of movable joints. for example, it must have feet, ankles and knees. (Not the only needed joints) You can't properly animate with the default stickfigure because of the missing assets. The legs are simply only knees. 2. You want to have the previous frame as ghost so you can keep your feet right. 3. Pose your stick figure, you want it to have a wide stance ready for animation. Not too wide and not too flat. 3.1 Move your entire stickfigure's body parts. This includes: Legs, arms, and head. Now we're going to start to animate. Keep in mind. You need to have a ton of patience. If you don't have any. Try to build yourself patience. All good animators have patience. 4. Sync your hands with your legs. When the legs move, the arms move. This is a very very important step: 5. Your back arm syncs with your front leg, the one under the front arm. Your back leg syncs with your front arm. basically, F + B (Front plus back) B + F 6. You keep your back leg in one place. You look at the ghost and when the stickfigure moves, the leg and ankle remains in the same position that it was initially. Basically your body leaves and forgets your leg. The start of the animation, you lift your back leg up and then place it on the ground, then start. Your body moves leaving behind your poor back leg. Your ankles move forward but your feet are trying so hard to stay on contact with the floor. and then your feet give up and your ankle, after your back leg and front leg end up being near eachother, you want to zoom in so you don't get confused with which is which, this is the biggest mistake that i made. Basically, my stickman's front leg was hiding my back leg, which made me confused and made me reposition my back leg into my front leg and my front leg positioned into my back leg. like they switched places. Zoom in so you know which is which. alright, so. After your front leg finally reaches it's destination and your back leg is behind your body, You restart. Repeat. After your front leg makes it's step. You repeat. Don't forget to keep moving the body. The back leg is supposed to get abandoned into one place then start to reunite to it's family. Then the front leg starts being the one who is abandoned by your whole body. and the back leg is repeating the same process that the front leg had. And that's all. I hope you found my comment appealing to you and that you could understand. I tried my best. A more effective way to animate practically anything is to replicate real life. Walk across your rooms looking down at your hands and feet. You realise your back arm follows your front leg. and your front arm follows your back leg, They have the same movements. If you appear to have the arms not looking fluid when they are going back, contract them then move them back.

    More common mistakes 1. Overusing tweened frame and pretty much animating in tween itself (if people get pissed off me because i said it, tween is pretty much your comfort zone but if you go out and watch tutorials and basically follow them you'll be surprised) 2. Lacking flow is not that common, but for newbies... it is flow is how you make the movements fluid and satisfying, also it decreases the grumpy look in an animation. The video pretty much also sums it up so i can't think of anything now lmao
