Stewie2K on MOUZ: "I didn't feel they were all that special"
Ойындар
Somehow, beyond all belief, G2 are just a single game away from making the arena at IEM Dallas with homegrown stand-in Jake "Stewie2K" Yip after defeating the highest ranked team in the world, MOUZ. After this momentous result, G2 face Liquid for an arena spot. For a team that struggled in this matchup with their full roster, the victory is a very welcome surprise.
After the game, Dust2.us' Jeffrey "Mnmzzz" Moore spoke with the super stand-in himself, Stewie2K, about the game, the process of standing in, and his potential return to professional Counter-Strike.

The SMOKE CRIMINAL 🥇😎💯
no matter if you like him as a person or not. stewie2k is showing us how to play cs with some real balls. he still consistently attempts openers and make plays even with a 0.7 rating, when other players would just go for safer plays or hold off-angles when they are off their game. the mentality and confidence this guy has is unreal, you can always feel his impact in the game.
reason why g2 picked him up: Get Dallas crowd on their side Free publicity, people talk about g2 Hooxi job is not contested by stewie at all Free content, more eyes on team If they lose the can call back on the fact this is publicity stunt

@@SeanFinn92 I like stewie's commitment to the calls. If you watch some G2 you can sometimes see that they are not fast enough to react to Hooxi's calls, and then they just go flat or miss a timing. In the match vs Liquid, Niko had a midround call to go vents, and stewie was the leading player, the others don't take that initiative. Hunter has always been a lurker and nexa is legit lurking also. They need the aggro player i think, doesn't have to be stewie per say, just someone that reacts faster.

to be honest...
now i know why he spoke about his liquid game yesterday was a forgone conclusion. The whole match seemed sus as fuck. But stewie let his mouth slip a bit to much in this interview to confirm the fixing of Dallas putting an american in playoffs. Id almost even bet that G2 aren't paying stewie, Dallas paid G2 to take him so they could have 3 chances of there being an American in playoffs. Col and M80 eliminated early on. Forced them to fix their last match.
