Well, that’s what goosebumps was when I first saw that nightmarish mask episode on VHS tape. I’ll never forget it. I still remember it to this day.

I think it's scarier as an Adult.

Forreal I was looking through the comments to see who else noticed that definitely sounds like him from Freddy’s dead this is crazy cause these episodes are like a mandela effect in you want see em tv again and if you look for the full episode it’s hard to find

Chucky wasn't a ventriloquist dummy. Stevil and Carlsbad are like Slappy from Goosebumps, not Chucky.

This episode would have scared me out as a kid, especially the scene where Carl is revealed to be possessed.

(Where Steve is revealed to be possessed.) It scared me as a kid, having seen it probably by myself as a kid... While *still* not realizing that TV is not all entirely real. But I think that seeing the first slaughter scene in Mars Attacks was worse.

If there had been a 10th season, an evil lookalike doll of Laura would have been created named Laurotten.

It's amazing they basically made an Are You Afraid of the Dark episode and added a laugh track!

I loved watching these two episodes when Family Matters had went into reruns on Nick at Nite during the late 2000s.

That was good effects when the dummy put him self together. The way Steve fight the dummy. it was scary.

Awesome times as a kid, Halloween felt sooo good and enchanting.....this show and episode made it all the better

Man, I miss these times the 80s and 90s, family matters, Sesame Street, full house, Prince of Bellaire, Reading Rainbow, and many more what a great time to be alive that was.

After watching Charmed, Sabrina, Witches of East End, Buffy, etc, this doesn't faze me. Maybe because yesterday was my first time watching these eps.

I wonder which one is more creepy version of Steve Puppet or Robot🤖

Too bad they didn't get around to making the third one with Laurotten.
